Works great!

Comfortable strap and the locking mechanism works well. I am 5'10" and am glad I got the longer version even though I dont need the extra length for 99% of my stretching.

So happy with this strap!

I didn’t realize what I was missing with my old strap (gaiam brand). I bought the Manduka for the extra length so I could use for poses where I could wrap it around my body a certain way. But even for simple things, it is clear that the manduka strap was superior— just laying down and putting my feet up, for example, with my old strap my feet would slide together. The manduka strap is grippier somehow and my feet stay in place. I’m not generally a manduka evangelist— the manduka mat is not any more remarkable than others IMO. But this strap is great!

The strap is really comfortable no matter where I try it. I opted for the 10 foot since I'm very tall, it's sturdy while being soft. I'm 5 10, I would think that anyone 5 8 or shorter would be comfortable with the 8 foot version. That's my guess. It's really taken yoga to another level.

It is what it is

I am a yoga novice and not very flexible. Think a 3 legged, decrepit cat / lame cow pose. So, imagine my joy when i discovered there were such things as yoga straps. Upon discovery, I immediately ask wife to buy me a yoga strap. With the arrival today of this Manduka strap, i find this is eseentially a large man's belt. Attractive it may be, but a large man's belt it is. It arrived quickly, and, by Jove it matches the description, so i will keep and use the large man's belt for yoga stretching.

Great strap, Very long

I got two of these for my wife and I we are average height about 5'9" and 4'5" respectively. These are probably a bit too long for us but that is better than too short. The straps are comfortable to use and do not stretch. The buckle is tight and works well.
