This is not dusk to dawn.

The item showed on a search for a dusk to dawn yard lite. I ordered it thinking it was dusk to dawn but had to install s separate photocell. Installing the photocell required a larger drill bit to drill into the post. I added a 300 watt equivalent LED bulb and am lighting my front yard for the cost to run a 30 watt bulb.

missing hardware

these outdoor lamps were expensive and missing hardware also one of them looked to be re-packaged because it was full of dust and dirt. I am handy so i elected to install them anyway they work good but very dissappointed on how they were packaged

Well made with a little flaw but good price.

The body seems to be a die-cast alloy and relatively light. The frosted glass is exactly what I wanted. The flaw was in one frosted glass panel where it appears the frosted surface was scratched about 1/8" wide and you can see the clear glass for about an inch. That panel faces the lawn so no one should see it. Since my post has only 12V going to it, I had to come up with a home made LED lamp out of 2 feet of LED Strip wound around a metal tube. It outs out about 400 lumens and is just right for the walkway/driveway without much light pollution. I did not want to spend a lot of money and I'm happy with it for the price.

Work ok

One unit had a very poorly constructed socket. Was easier to repair than return,. They are a bit smaller than they look, but overall put out very good light.

Nice lantern for the price

Overall I’m happy with this lantern. Size is perfect for a post lantern. Construction seems solid. Exactly as pictured. Only complaint is there were a couple small imperfections in the frosted glass. Areas were unfrosted. But not noticeable from a distance.

Simple style

We live in a HOA which the older lamp posts needed replacement. Theses lights exceeded our expectation with the likeness to the older lights. The value couldn’t be better.

Gorgeous light. Larger than what it looks which is awesome

Bought this light for my mother in law for Mother’s Day and when it arrived I was shocked at how big it was and at how beautiful it was. The glass is nicely frosted but not solid, it will give a beautiful soft glow of light. My mother in law was over the moon about it.
