Easy to Install and Adjust
These are great replacement for your old Splash Well Drains! They adjust to you transom or just cut them an inch or more to your liking and re adjust them again! I cut them a few inches short to adjust it to my transom and added clear marine silicone to give it a proper seal to the transom! I got a new set of Splash Well Drains for years to come and they look great on my boat!! I would recommend these for anyone

Make sure this is the right size for your application
This is a "standard" type plastic transom drain tube. Decent quality. There is one issue I ran into. My application was on transom that wasn't quite thick enough for this tube. The diameter is fine. The male side of the tube only has one ridge on the inside to grab the inner piece that you trim to size. Because that one ridge is near the end of the tube, you can't really trim that side of needed. Only the inner side can be trimmed. The male side was the exact depth of my transom in my case. No matter how I trim the inner piece , it sticks out proud just about a 1/4 inch. 1/4 inch is the depth of the single ridge on the male side from the end of the tube. If there were at least a couple ridges on that side so I could adjust both sides for better fit, would have been better for my situation. Will look for a different solution.

Must cut to fit less than 3". Not removable w/o cutting it out.
I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I am somewhat disappointed in this product. The longer tube is 3" long. If you want to use it in anything less than 3" thick, you have to cut it flush after installation. I don't consider that to be an "adjustment." What look like threads in the photo are actually one-way ridges. The two tubes push together -- one time. • Without threads, you can't snug them down properly. -- With my luck, I would have been between ridges -- too loose for a good fit but not loose enough to go one more click. • You cannot take them apart (to check for water intrusion, apply fresh sealant, etc.). • Removing these drain tubes requires cutting them and replacing them. I have 1-1/4" brass drain tubes that I plan to permanently install with a 1-1/4" flanging tool, but I bought these to use in the short term so that I could remove them and reinstall them while I complete some work on the transom. Since they aren't removable, they won't work for me. Note: I'm sure that these work fine for some people in some applications, despite the drawbacks that I mentioned.

Perfect solution
Fit way better than I anticipated. I put marine sealant all over and then tapped it together, a wooden block on one side and a mallet on the other. I am very pleased with the results.
