Smaller fit and plastic inside
I'll start with the good - it's definitely a warm hat and is waterproof* The bad: I bought a Size Large/XL even though I don't have a big head, I usually wear M/L fitted hats and this hat is tight! Maybe it would have give after a hearing it. The ugly: It has a inside layer that sounds like tissue paper. Literally like you're wearing a hat made of tissue paper from Christmas. Anytime you touch it or even move your jar you can hear the tissue paper. I cannot stress enough how annoying it is.

Size XXL fits
Due to the reviews, I ordered size XXL. It fits well. I am a woman with a average size head. XL would not have fit.

Warm hat runs on the smaller side
How often do you find yourself working on a dredging barge in the frozen tundra 1 maybe 3 days a month depending how the fur trading is going maybe the marmot’s are a little to lean this season and you’ve sworn to never go back to your roots in high rise window washing even though uncle Henry started the business with a cup and some old newspaper I’m my own man mom you go wash windows if it’s so special but I digress this hat is warm and stays dry on the inside get it if you like that kinda thing dot get it if you don’t balls in you court now

This apparently is for large elves
I have a small to medium head or a female and this "XL" hat was very tight. I was not expecting the hat to feel like it's sucking out my soul when I'm putting it on or wearing it. I want there to be a little bit of space for my curls and for my head too. Maybe if you want something that will stay on your head when you're riding a motorcycle in the rain, which you shouldn't do, this would be perfect. Unfortunately, for me I have to send it back.

SUCH A GOOD PRODUCT
It's a beanie and it keeps your head dry and warm. It's well made and comfortable on your head. Yes it has a slight rustle to it when you scrunch it up in your hand but noise and stiffness has been reduced to almost nothing compared to the original that was brought out years ago. Once on your head it's as quiet and a mouse and any Gortex jacket will make more noise. Excellent product, and I have three, a blue one, a black one and a reflective one for walking the dog at night.

Very Warm Hat
Great well made hat. The waterproof membrane rustles as you put it on. I thought that this would be annoying however it doesn't make any noise once you've got it on. I really like it.

Size is bit on the small side
I have to return this one for an exchange as it was too small. The right one arrived day after the exchange request and it was all good.

I bought this for my son in law to wear whilst walking his dog. He loves the fact that it fits well and is wind and waterproof.
