Love my FoodCycler

Not as good as the original

I originally bought this one it was another company and not Vitamix the bucket itself is the same it’s just designed a little bit different and also the handle is a lot different the one I have the handle does not fall down you will literally have to push it down to get the lid on but the nice thing is when I bought the new bucket I got a filter lid which is great so overall it’s it’s good it’s just you gotta be careful with the little handle

Replacement Bucket for my FoodCycler

My original bucket for my FoodCycler died on me after a little more than a year of use. I use my FoodCycler 2-3 times a week, so the mechanism inside the bucket failed after heavy use. The new one seems to be a better quality bucket than the first one too. The painter surface inside the bucket seems more durable than the previous one. I also started using an automotive product from Fluid Film to spray on the inner lining of the bucket before loading it with my garbage to make it more slippery, and I think it's working. I don't get near the build-up of ground-up material stuck on the inner sides or rotating arms of the bucket after each use. It makes it easier to clean as well.

Excellent!

Works quickly and quietly to dry and break down food into small particles, which are able to be composted. I use this to save space in my compost tumbler, as whole foods can take up a lot of space.

It should come with two, a must have!

With two buckets you can have the machine running and this one sitting on the counter, makes me get more use out the machine it feels. I always have one next to the sink to put food scraps in and can quickly swap it out, I feel myself doing twice as much composting! A must buy!

Love having an extra bucket

The extra bucket is awesome. I just change them out as needed. The cover blocks all smells, even onion and garlic or raw meat scraps.

Great product but easily breaks

This is a great product but don't drop it. It is not metal. I is ceramic and will crack into pieces.

Comes with only one lid- single function foodcycler (compost only)

Pros: save on garbage bags if one is used as a bin and one is used in the foodcycler. Cons: not multifunctional. Cannot process basil foliage to make pesto since it comes with only one lid and not the foodcycling lid.
