Works great…. But instructions and customer service.. not so much.

It arrived promptly and was excited to install it. Usually, like a normal guy I’d just jump in and get’r done, but though, being as it’s dealing with electricity and lots of heat I’d best read the instructions. There were so many contradictions in space from walls and such it was somewhat amusing.. there was no mention about the four spacers that looked like they support the heating element.. (two of which are pictured) do they stay in or do they need to be removed?.. I sent a message to the parent company as noted on the instructions and got an immediate auto reply that they well be addressing the issue. A day of so later I received a message that said they are forwarding my question to someone that could answer the question. A day or so later I receive another message telling me they are still trying to find the answer. Wanting to use the silly thing on our cabin deck I thing to myself…. If those things burn, it wouldn’t turn out very good from any point of view.. I removed one of them and sure enough, those spacers burn! Put my “guy” thing together, removed them, stuck it up on the wall, plugged it in and it works just fine. In my opinion, if you ignore the instructions that are a poor translation from China and after removing the spacers and using some common sense, you will be fine. Oh, and if the flashing blue light bugs you, put a piece of black electricians tape over it and boom! You are done.

Toasty nights, Safe heater, easily mounted!

I ordered this outdoor space heater for my deck. I love to entertain outside long after summer has ended, but with the cold some nights is harder to do than others. This was a nice solution to that. With kids having it mounted makes me feel so much safer. My husband was able to easily install it on the wall fairly quick with no issues. I love that it comes with a remote to be able to control the settings all while not having to get up. It so far has proven to be more then capable of warming up my seating area quite substantially. It's not a covered deck and it has been left out in even rain and it still works just fine. This is a top-of-the-line heater, and I am happy that I chose this one. Worth every penny.

Honestly needed two, the heat output is great under it and has a pretty nice range but one more on the other side would have made it perfect

So easy to put together and mount on the wall, heat is good, I can’t wait to see how effective it is when it really gets cold. The flashing blue light when it is turned off is the worst, I have to unplug it!

Extremely effective

I got this to put on the patio underneath our wood deck. My husband and I like to go out there and watch movies on the projector all year round and we needed something to keep us warm. We've already got one of the 7 foot propane patio heaters on the uncovered part of the back patio, but we can't put it under the wood deck. I don't really feel like potentially setting the house on fire. ???????? When I was researching what to get, I liked that this could be hung up on the wall and it has a remote. There were no reviews when I purchased it, but I wasn't worried because I've purchased many other Serene Life products and they've always been top notch, high quality products. The unit arrived very well packaged with no damages. It includes all of the parts and accessories you will need to mount the unit to the wall. It's a lightweight unit, but extremely sturdy. You won't have to worry about the mounting brackets breaking, due to weight. I was amazed at how much heat the carbon fiber heating element can put out. It instantly started warming up the 20x20 area under the porch and kept us warm the entire time we were out there. It's going to be so nice to be able to enjoy the outdoors without freezing our butts off in the late Fall and Winter. It's a great addition and I wish I would've thought about getting one of these sooner. It actually worked so great that I purchased 3 other types for other outdoor areas and for the lake house. I'm impressed and thrilled with the effectiveness and high performance of this unit. I can't wait to continue to enjoy it for years to come.

An okay product

I installed this inside the roof of my 10 x 12 ft gazebo so we could host events outside. I have adjusted it I height to try and maximize its effectiveness. Because it only has one setting, it is not nearly as effective as it should be. It should come with a hood to evenly distribute the heat down. I am not going to return it but I would not buy another.

Heats well

This heater is super easy to install and works great. It’s electric so no gas is required. I love the remote that comes with it. It’s super easy to use and cost effective. Love this! It puts out enough heat to heat my entire enclosed porch area. Great value for the money.

I live in Ontario Canada This is probably the best you’ll get without hardwired heater 240v It will not heat up a whole garage in a cold Ontario winter , only if your standing directly under it I have it mounted on the ceiling But it’s convenient

Direct heat only

I bought this to heat a small shed about 4x4 that I go to in winter to smoke. You only get warm if directly under it. Than only head and shoulders. Would not recommend as a space heater.
