Good shampoo for people who lost their hair from chemo

Start using this shampoo to help my hair grow back from being on chemo for 12 weeks it really start coming in pretty good it's now touches my shoulders and has a lot of body I got it because it didn't contain a lot of chemicals it looks like it has a lot of black gooey stuff in it but that's the black castor oil that's put in there which is good for your hair I also use it in my bath water because chemo makes your skin all dry and itchy doesn't make soap but it does clean good and makes your hair really soft especially when your hair grows back I'm happy

This shampoo doesn’t takes much to lather up really good. I’m using this to get my hair back to it’s healthy states and to prevent hair loss. Two pumps is all I needed to wash my thick hair really good. Washing my hair with this shampoo weekly and so far not as much shredding.

I've used other strengthening shampoos in the past, and can say that this product is one of the best I've tried. After the first use I was able to see a significant difference: my hair was more resistant to falling out. I play with my hair a lot and even then it wouldn't fall out as much. The fluid itself is thin and to me the scent is decent, but you can't go wrong with this product if you're budget is under $20.

Nourishing and Effective

I recently tried the SheaMoisture Strengthen and Restore Shampoo for Damaged Hair and it's quickly become a staple in my hair care routine. The shampoo has a really pleasant scent that isn't too strong, which I appreciate. Smells like heaven, moisturized my 2a/2b hair

SheaMoisture Strengthen and Restore shampoo with Jamaican Black Castor oil 24 fl oz. Cruelty free, no parabens, sulfates, phthalates, or mineral oil. This bottle is huge!! It came on new condition and didn’t leak at all. I was nervous if this shampoo would work out for me and skeptical of the “all hair curl types” claim I’ve heard so often. I’ve tried SheaMoisture curl products in the past and whilst good quality, they were too heavy for my hair type. I’ve also tried just plain castor oil with mixed-to-no results. I have fine 2a/2b type wavy hair with naturally very dry ends but oily roots and live in a semi-arid climate which only compounds the problem. So it’s not so much the products themselves, but a very fine line that my picky hair will accept lol. I heard good things about this shampoo and am glad I tried it!! This smells SOOOO GOOD!! It’s a warm, vanilla-heavy, almost buttery, rich, welcoming fragrance. I didn’t get any peppermint scent sadly. It doesn’t smell like vinegar at all. The consistency is just right, imo, not too thick or thin. It’s dark brown in color and looks a bit grainy but I didn’t have any issues with it clogging…at least not yet. It lathered well, a little goes a long way, and didn’t take forever to wash out. I was worried it would strip my scalp so I followed with a conditioner plus my usual leave-in. That was probably unnecessary as it didn’t dry out my roots and, in fact, left off my hair feeling soft and silky. I followed my usual scrunching routine etc but didn’t use any other products(just to see) so I was shocked when I combed my hair out AND….. not only did it not tangle, but the wavy pattern held!! Also, my hair was shiny all day once dry. No, it wasn’t a miracle product and my scalp didn’t feel SUPER clean BUT it did a lot better than most products for me so I will definitely keep this one around! It should last me a longgg time too. Would recommend for wavy and curly girls!
