Just what I needed

This thing is honestly so much better quality than I imagined. I hadn't realized that the rear sunction cup/crank/brace tilted at an angle to fit the curve of the back of the tub. The whole set up is super sturdy. My only complaint is that my 12 month old can easily pull one of her knees to the side and twist her self around in the seat. She is a bit on the smaller side of 12 month olds and nimble though. And I feel like if they had made the leg holes smaller, they wouldn't work for chunkier kids or leave room for growth. Regardless, this is perfect for that in between age of too big for baby tub, but too small to keep from slipping around in a big tub. She seems to love it too, except for the fact that her bath toys can float too far out of her reach now.

Awesome product!

This was a lifesaver editing bathtime! My son is VERY ACTIVE and always has been lol giving him a bath was one of the hardest things for me to do and I was worried he would get injured being so active but once I bought this seat it changed that! Once he got a little older and could sit in bath better I still used the seat to wash his hair until he got too big to sit in it. It was a major help washing his hair and making sure to rinse all soap out without having to worry as much about getting it in his eyes

Designed for standard rectangular adult tubs

My LO is 7 months and sitting up on her own so had outgrown her Angelcare Baby Bath Support. We tried to transition her to a baby tub inside of the adult tub, but she was getting slippery which was making bath time less enjoyable despite it being one of her favorite things before. Behold this bath seat - the answer to our struggles! I titled my review that it’s for rectangular tubs because I didn’t fully read the description as much as I looked at reviews and photos people shared etc. Anyway, we have two baths in our home and one of them is a large oval tub. Despite the instructions not to use it in an oval tub, I went against my better judgement while we had guests over with a minimal amount of water. There were no problems with it on the floor of the tub with the back suction locked. LO is nearly 20 lbs and it stayed put. I was happy to install the seat in our other bathtub and will update if there’s any problems. Seems very secure and LO is enjoying bath time again which makes us happy.

LOVE!

Once my little guy started sitting up I was really nervous to give him a bath but this chair is the perfect solution. He know loves bath time with all the kicking and splashing and playing with toys. It is easy to get him to lean his head back to wash his hair without too much fuss. It is easy to take in and out of the bath tub and it fits nicely on the floor of our linen closet to tuck away between uses.

Just get it!

This is the best thing ever to have in your tub!! Nothing is scarier than washing a slippery baby ???? my sweet little one loves being independent and playing in the tub and this keeps her safe from slipping around! I have an old claw foot tub and this fits in it perfectly! Very good investment! It will fit her fit a long time!

Great quality!

Easy to install and it kept our 6 month old safe. Our little one had an absolute blast bathing with her brother and playing with him in the tub. The seat locks in place very well and was simple to rinsed off when we’re done.

Big Boy Bath

This product has changed our bathtime routine! My son is sitting up independently but we wanted a secure seat to keep him safe in the tub. This item secures tightly to the perimeter of the tub and allows for a longer bath time experience when needed. It was simple to install and wipes clean easily. We are so happy to have a new tool to incorporate into our bedtime routine!

Not a safe product!

This product is not safe. I used the product with my baby and while in the seat in the tub, my baby manoeuvred one of her legs into the side hole of the seat. As a result, her entire body was then stuck in the seat. It was VERY difficult to get her out. The seat does not come apart, and it took about 20 minutes of my husband and I trying to gently pull her body and legs until we could successfully get her out. I was very close to taking her to the hospital, because we did not want to break her leg. As a result, her leg was left bruised, and my child was in a lot of distress and was traumatized from the discomfort and pain. The side holes to the seat do not have a functional purpose and are very dangerous for babies, and are sharp! Do not buy this seat!

Great

So this is perfect and super super secure. We didn't get much build up of scum like people mentioned. We actually ended up selling our first one because we thought our baby had outgrown it (according to manufacturer) but without this she would NOT sit down in the bath. So we quickly reordered another one...And just like that bathtime wasn't a battle and bath time is awesome again. Our baby is 1 year old and weighs 20lbs so pretty average and she has plenty of leg room.

Hard to clean. Builds up gunk that can potentially lead to mold.

It was great at first. I dried it after every use. But despite doing that, there are many little areas that water can get into. I noticed it started leaving residue and red stains. I do not believe this is safe as you are unable to see if there is any mold growing on the inside of the parts with exposed holes/cracks. It’s a shame because it’s a great concept!

really disappointed in product- ended up returning

The seat is too big- it takes up literally half the bathtub. The connector/brace that sits on the back of the seat is extremely long. My bathtub has the built in sliding doors that run on a track thats attached to the top of the bathtub. With this seat installed, i cannot reach the front of the seat, its super awkward to try to put my little ones legs through the holes. If you had a regular tub without sliding doors, im sure it would work much better. Also side note: The suction cups that hold the seat in place do not come off without unscrewing them. There is no easy way to prop them open to allow the water to drain and dry. This is going to be a breeding ground for mold and bacteria.

Safest bath seat ever

My son just used this for the first time tonight. Hes 9 months and has suffered from a seizure in the past and with him trying to stand up in the bath tub all the time, i I soo worried he would end up hitting his head, so I came across this on here and just had to order. Its bigger than I expected but he fits right in it with lots of room. He doesnt try to stand up because he thinks he cant. Takes up alot of room but worth it for your baby's safety
