Love these chairs
The chairs are amazing. A little pricey but worth it for Ashley. Note: these chairs require assembly but the instructions are easy to follow.

Easy to assemble. Great value.
I purchased a reduced priced version of this product. It was discounted approximately $110 because it was "missing some hardware and box damaged". The missing hardware was an adjustable leveling foot for one leg. No big deal. I bought 8 new ones for $10 and replaced all 8. I put the stools together myself. Directions say you need 2 people. You don't What you need is patience and to follow the directions. DON'T TIGHTEN ALL THE SCREWS UNTIL ALL THE PIECES ARE IN PLACE. This is crucial to get the holes to line up. I'm a 60 yr old grandma and had both stools assembled within an hour. They are smaller than I was expecting in terms of overall appearance, but the are exactly the same height as the counter stools I'm replacing. Dark brown color is rich and deep. It's a wooden seat, so comfort isn't what we were going for, just the country kitchen feel. Even at full price I'd recommend this product.

Looks nice, not great instructions, unlabelled hardware
So these stools look great and are fairly comfortable. They would definitely benefit from some cushion as the bottom will dig into your thighs a bit. Here's the bad news: none of the hardware is labelled/separated, they send 0 extras, and nothing quite lines up right. The instructions use hardware labels, so I'd recommend sorting them all BEFORE you get started. We messed up the threading on one of the screws and had no backups, we made it work but c'mon. If you're fine with all of that, go for it, but we're a little disappointed.

Great chairs but tough to put together
These are great chairs, heavy and solid! My only complaint is that it took a while to put together...my tip would be DON'T tighten any of the screws until you get every single screw in. Many of the holes didn't match up and it took a ton of muscle strength (which I don't have) and frustration to get everything to line up. Realized that it worked easier if you save the tightening until the end.

Missing some hardware, sharp edges
Hardware packets were easy to find but the contents were not accurate. Has extra flat washers, not enough of the right size screws, not enough lock washers. Steel plate that attaches the seat very sharp cuts like a razor. Both seats had two shallow wedges in the seat and were identical on both seats so it must be intentional. Maybe something needed to align the seat during production. I have hardwood floor so I will need to get something to go over the legs to protect the floor or put down a rug.

NOT STURDY FOR REGULAR USAGE
It took awhile to put together bc the directions were shoddy. Hard to tell which size screw and when to use certain washers. Have been using last 3 weeks and have had to tighten regulary and as well they seem uneven and wobble easily. they look good but I would like to return if I could.

Don’t buy
Nice look good looking bar stool but it’s already peeling without even using it much. Had if for about a month and sat maybe 5 times. Not worth the buy. Ashley stuff not worth the hassle

Patience Needed!
If you are looking for some exercise and a project to test your patience. This is it! After 2 hours of assembly with 2 people(needed a third) the stools came out okay. However, they do look much nicer than the price tag - go for it !!!

Small seat area
Matches my decor but the back makes the seat area small. You are sliding off, and I am only 5 ft. 115 pounds. We think we will take the backs off.
