Product great packaging sucks!
Nails are great but I recieved a bag full of nails luckily they didn't puncture. You would think maybe put an item like this in a Box being #1 nail and #2 $20 for 1lb of nails. Please do better!

Broken Packaging on Arrival
The Amazon shipping box appeared to be in good shape, but the box containing the nails had a broken lid and nails were spilt all over. Tape was on the lid but that did not seem to help. Would have returned but not sure how I would even do that with a broken nail box. Guess I could put in a baggie? ha. Nails work fine. Just arrived in rough shape and did not appear to be the fault of the shipping.

They bend very easily
These nails bend way too easy.

Good grip but a little weak
The rings on these do give them some good grip for siding nails, but for hand hammering them they are a little weak and can bend if you hit some hard wood or your impact is a bit off. If I spend my whole day hammering nails, maybe I would get used to this and avoid problems, but compared to regular nails of similar dimension these do seem a little weak. On the other hand, because they are ringed, perhaps they are naturally a bit harder to drive. It took a long time to get them shipped from Ace Hardware. Good but not perfect.

Also work great on my mahogany (cambara) deck where they appear to ...
Local stores only had grip-tite siding nails that had lump-like unformed heads instead of thin, wide heads. I found these to be ideal for replacing cedar clapboards on my house, and for re-attaching old clapboards whose nails had rusted to nothing. Also work great on my mahogany (cambara) deck where they appear to be what the builders used originally (I'm cheap and save stainless nails when I replace boards...) If there's anything bad about them, it's that the ring shanks are so sharply formed as barbs that they're hard to remove if you screw up!

What I needed to fix my cedar fence.

Great buy
Great nails for siding. They are stainless (softer metal). So they can bend a bit easier, but after siding my shed with them and pounding around 600 I only bent 2 and that was my fault.

Simpson Strong
Fast delivery, quality good. Renovating a circa 1900 house. Replacing clapboards and windows. Prefer SST nails versus galvanized. Less chance they will rust and ruin the painted exterior.

Good quality nails
As long as I have a straight and true hammer hit, these nails go in perfectly every time. If I'm just a tiny little bit off, nail bent. It's probably one in ten that bend, but at least they make a starter hole for the next nail. There are a ton of nails and they're well priced, so I'm not upset to lose a few.

Great nails
I used these to put James Hardie cement-fibre lap siding on my shed, as they fit the installation specs precisely. I had to drill 1/16" pilot holes, but the nails went in very well. Only a few bent, when struck off-centre. I'd definitely use them again.
