Skechers for Work Women's Duck Rain Boot, Brown--Wide width would be a good step in the right direction...

Really liked the boots, but as advertised and offered, are available in 'Medium' width; did not see a 'Wide' width offered. In reading previous customers' reviews, most feedback was that the boots tended to run a size larger than listed; however, my instinct was to go with a half size larger since I have wide feet, and I should have gone with the 9M size; the 9M probably would have fit a lot better, and come nearer to what would be a comparable "8.5 Wide Width". I have returned them, and will reorder the half size larger next time. As far as 'arch support', I was concerned about this, since I really need a lot of 'arch support'. I did not get to wear them enough to really be able to evaluate for wearing them for hours at a time. They did feel good on my feet except for being too snug, but architecturally, seemed well constructed.

Very comfortable, no slipping on slick wet floors

Best work boots so far! Broke in nice, very comfortable despite 12+ hrs of wear a day, 8 on my feet. Plenty of toe room- no pinched toes! Holding up well so far after a month of daily soaking floors and disinfectants. Havent slipped yet despite very slick floors.

a little like walking around in snowboard shoes

These are really comfy. I usually get a 7 1/2 for shoes that I wear socks with, but I should have probably gotten a 7. But they aren't so big that I'll need to buy another pair that's smaller (since I already wore the 7 1/2s). They are very rigid though... a little like walking around in snowboard shoes, but I'm sure they'll soften up a bit after a couple uses. The first time I wore them, I wore them almost the entire day, and they didn't rub anywhere.

I just cant say how much I love these boots

I just cant say how much I love these boots. Unbelievably comfortable (with zero break in) with the memory foam insole, and while they are sturdy not as heavy as I expected. They are thinsulate lined (and I love thinsulate for the warmth without the weight!) and I truly believe come winter, that with a good pair of socks they will be wonderful outside-I just wore them on a farm doing a ton of walking, climbing, etc. in near 90 degree weather for 10 hours and my feet never felt warm, nor were my feet sweaty and stinky at the end of the day.

The only reason I marked the fit as somewhat large in due to the width. I prefer to pull the laces snug for a good fit and better feel (support) when walking/hiking, particularly on slopes but I can't seem to make them as tight as I would like. Otherwise these boots work well in tall, wet vegetation and I am quite happy with them.

I should have gotten a half size smaller. The tongue on the left boot also rubs my shin but they are very comfortable and warm and keeps your feet dry in very rainy weather. The first day I wore them we had about 4 inches of rain that day and my feet stayed dry. I would recommend these for the cold,wet,snowy or rainy days.

These boots are great! I am a professional dog groomer and needed something to keep my feet dry as I wash the dogs, and these do the job! Sometimes a small amount of water will come in through the laces eyelets but nothing major, and at the end of the day my socks are almost always dry :)

Las botas superan mis expectativas. Ya las probé y me encantaron!! Son bastante cómodas y si a prueba de agua. El diseño está muy bien.
