Read the reviews and judge for yourself before ordering
I read review after review, looked at all the photos posted by those who purchased before me. And placed my order with reservations as to what I would receive. The boots look exactly like the photos posted in the listing pretty much. I wasn't expecting a light suede like leather finish on the boots. The leather quality and thickness is much on the thin side and more of an overlay then one piece leather material. I read all of the reviews that spoke of the pull straps ripping loose but did not have any issue when trying on the boot, but did take a look at the construction around the strap and can see that it is not stitched in a strong or heavy duty manner. The fit is weird at least in my case. I ordered my regular 11 1/2 size, but the boot fit shorter than usual and much wider. Now I don't just mean wider as in the width of the sole, but also the entire area ahead of the ankle snug elastic fitted design of the boot. It was like I could tap my foot to music and the boot itself would not move due to the interior excess foot room.

Comfy but fatal flaw
After returning my normal (I have a wide foot) size for a half size up, these boots broke in quickly within a week, or so with a couple applications of mink oil to soften the break in points of the leather, with no blisters during the process. I have had them for 4 months now and they are very comfortable and are wearing well with daily medium duty construction work. The only fatal flaw, as many other reviewers have mentioned, is the pull strap. After about 3 weeks the left rear pull strap tore off like a perforated removable tag. Now my left thumb and forefinger is getting stronger each day due to a lack of proper grasping point. Great boot otherwise, but come on Sketchers get it right. If these boots were an automobile they would be recalled. Makes me think twice about buying your products again, despite my years of brand loyalty.

Good shoes, bad straps.
The shoes fit and feel well. I had a similar pair of Danners they were twice as much cost, but more durable and a little better quality. For the price, they are good. Like everyone else, the straps broke after the first day. If you can get past the straps or reinforce them. They are good shoes.

Pull straps are not for pulling.
In 3 weeks three of the 4 pull straps came off. Otherwise not too bad for the money.

Cheaper alternative very similar
Excellent substitute to blundstones at 1/3 the price. I've owned many pairs of the name brand , Little stiff at first in the elastic band, after some wear time I'm sure this issue will resolve itself. If you're in the market for a good cheap Chelsea would recommend

Comfortable after a Short Break in
After a 2 day break in these boots check all the boxes for comfort. I would buy again and recommend.

Yes on of the pull straps broke the 1st time I pulled them on but what a great copy of Flintstones. True to size.

Love these boot!
Skechers have always been a great fit for my feet. I hope they keep making these. They discontinued some of my favorite similar styles over the years.

Pull Tabs Ripped Off
I will be returning these. Unfortunately the pull tabs on each boot ripped right off when I went to try these on. I thought maybe it was just a defective pair, but upon looking at other reviews it’s happened lots before. Also, if you’re getting these to be a dupe or Blundstones these are a lot more chunkier.
