Strong Hangers

I took a chance on these and I am happy with the result. The hangers fit perfectly (12 inch width) and are nice and sturdy. The included name tabs are a nice addition.

Good value for the money.

I haven't used these folders for very long so I can't speak to there durability. So far they are doing the job for which they were purchased.

Good quality and sturdy as you remember

Sturdy and worked perfectly. Matched the thickness and quality of older Smead folders with metal that doesn't flex easily. Still the ones to get over cheaper or generic.

Not as good as the older ones, but the best you'll find available now

These are not as good of quality as the older ones from all of the major brands (the metal hanging bars that run along the tops of the folders in the older ones used to be all one solid thick piece of metal, not thinner and hollow on one side like all of them nowadays are made). The new ones will easily bend with finger pressure, whereas you would hardly be able to get the old ones to bend, even trying to bend them. That means heavy files won't be supported with as much strength. Also, they don't take care to glue the metal hanging bars evenly all the way to the very top of the paper folder FOLDS at the top like they used to, so I wonder, with time and usage, if these new ones will start to have the glue pull away from the paper and open up, with weight pulling on them. All in all, this Smead is the best you are going to find to purchase new now.

Quantity not 25! Quality 5 stars!

I would have given 5 stars for all the ratings, however, I gave 1 star for value. I did not receive 25 folders as was advertised as well as stated on the box the files came in. These were the same top quality that I bought years ago. Just need better quality control on quantity put in each box.

Good quality. Also came with the plastic tabs for labelling. Found them for almost $5 cheaper at another store after I ordered them, should have shopped around more before purchasing.
