WHAT HAPPENED TO PRICE
Nothing wrong with the part but wonder why when I ordered on July 29, 2022 , the total cost was $6.38... Today August 8, 2022, I go to reorder the same part same vendor and the part if $13.00 before taxes ect.

Perfect a repair Part
These are the perfect size for solo repairs. All of them would be better in metal but plastic doesn’t corrode.

Part OK ( by that I mean work but poor design) but way overpriced
As I said before non-standard design another one broke, a cash cow part. Ran into a friend that had sprayer handle in back of truck same part broken. I am going to quit this and have a SS hose barb made for this. Absolutely stupid greed and design. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Solo parts are WAY to expensive!!! Part OK should NEVER break at this price but they do..ought to be ashamed but aren't. It looks like most agree Solo should take hint or at LEAST reply and/or read. Purchased two in April and one has broken already..use them on other sprayers because I like the wands. As far as the theory that it breaks for freeze protection I don't buy it. 1. On my $150,000 spray rig there is not one part designed this way. I guess they figure if you are that STUPID to leave it out in freezing weather you deserve the break. 2. Also what plants are out to spray in freezing weather? 3. My breaks have NOTHING to do with freezing, not solid enough at base BAD design! I've purchased 100"s of identical Tjet hose barb for drops for less than a dollar apiece...Solo sizes are incompatible with Tjet.

Works
Fixed my broken wand with this hose barb, but it seemed a little pricey!

Too expensive
Too expensive for what it is, a very lite piece of plastic

Repair don't replace
Solo sprayers left over the winter with liquid in them tend to break at the place the hose attaches to the sprayer handle--this hose barb. Replacing the barb is an easy and inexpensive way to repair the sprayer.
