Not for bottoms of feet
These shift too much on the bottom of my feet, even with a strip of athletic tape on top, and scorch healthy skin. There are better products out there.

Keep These On Hand If You're Going To Do A Lot of Walking
We just went to really big theme parks for the first time in many years, and I knew that we were going to be walking way more than usual (11 miles per day), and that our feet were going to take the bulk of the pressure (and it came true). 2nd Skin was a sure bet for our first aid kit, and I'm glad we had it on hand. I saw a recommendation for this from "things to pack for a day at the theme parks", and I was not taking any chances with my feet. I wanted to have our options, because I didn't know what kind of foot challenges we would face. These worked really well. I had a bit of a hot spot one of the days, and I used one of the foam pads, and it really helped to take the pressure off. My spouse had a blister, and the moist pad under the knit tape really helped him get through the rest of the day. Definitely worth having on hand!

works well, but not the cat's meow
have popped nickel sized blisters in the middle of both my hands from some cyclocross racing with the wrong gloves. can't get anything to stay on my palms; was hopeful after reading the reviews that this might. well, the good news is that it stays on, as long as water doesn't touch it. the bad news, once water touches it, it comes right off. I specifically made sure my hands were very dry on application, with no lotion or other products, just straight on dry skin. to be clear, this is still better than the other blister product I tried (Band-Aid brand) that didn't even make it to water before starting to come up. the gel pieces are a plus, they do keep the open blister moist. I am still not sure whether I am supposed to just remove the blue plastic from the gel piece, or the blue and white plastic (from both sides). so I did it both ways, one on each palm. definitely the hydrated gel stays hydrated longer with the white plastic left on the back, and the bandage part seemed to stick better because less moisture soaked into it from the gel. YMMV. Overall, well designed product, just don't expect it to last through any type of water if you have my luck. would buy again, as I haven't found anything better.

Worth it for preventing blisters and walking on popped blisters
When I was younger I borrowed a pair of soccer cleats from a friend that were too big. I ended up with 2 inch round blisters on the balls of my feet. Obviously unable to walk, the sport nurse suggested 2nd skin and it was like nothing was wrong with my feet! I have use it sporadically throughout the last 12 years when I am in a new place walking more than expected and I always bring it on a trip I know I will walk a ton. Our last vacation, to Disney World, I brought this kit as a backup in case my comfortable shoes didn't stay as comfy. I used the moleskin on the back of my ankles, where my sneakers sat, and they prevented blisters and lasted through rain and a shower. I don't go on any trip without them and the best product out there. I find it hard to find in a store near me, so it's nice to be able to get it so easily online, and usually cheaper than the one store in our area who randomly carries it.

Spenco 2nd Skin Blister Kit Sports
This is a MUST HAVE if you get blisters like I do. For some reason, whenever we travel to Europe, I end up with a ton of blisters. I now carry this miracle box with me. The magic is in the water squares or whatever they are. It magically seems to heal my foot overnight...just in time to abuse it all again the next day! We walk 10-20km per day and when you are walking on cobblestones...enough said. I think my feet swell from flying as my shoes fit when I am at home (in the desert) and are so tight when we are in France, England, Italy, Germany etc. I think it's a combination of the long flight and the humidity. Whatever it is, this allows me to fully enjoy all the sites. There is a re-sealable pouch for the hydra squares. You need to remove the plastic from both sides of the water square which can sometimes be a bit tricky, before you put on the outer sealing bandage. Once everything is on, you can walk again and your foot isn't dying. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

Soothing
This is an excellent product. It’s more soothing than the gel blister pads. Really takes the sting off blisters. I didn’t find they stayed on for more than a day or two but maybe I wasn’t careful enough in application. Only downside to them is that I can’t put two in my wallet as I do with the gel pads.

Saved my trek to Everest.
These are the greatest thing ever! I took them with me on a trek to Everest base camp. Day two I had blisters on the side and bottom of both big toes. I put these on that night and the next day was walking pain free (7 hours). My trekking team mate also had blisters on the sides of her toes and was unable to do much more than hobble until I convinced her to put these on. I am ordering more as I start training for a marathon because I know having them will mean that when I do rub blisters, i do not have to slow down to let the blisters heal fully. I will say that if you are running/trekking in wet conditions or KT tape or medical tape so they don't slip but in normal conditions you should be fine just make sure you seal the edges well.

Works suprisingly well to keep blisters pain-free
This worked amazingly well. Bought in advance as I was going to be on a four-day walking trip. I had good shoes, good socks, and used "hiking goo," but managed to raise a couple small blisters the first day. The wet gel pads in this kit, combined with the adhesive knit, made it feel as if the blisters were nonexistent when I walked, and they got no worse over the duration. Really excellent and recommended as something to put in your travel or hiking bag if you have a tendency to get blisters. In the past I've simply covered blisters with bandages, but the frictionless gel pads in the kit actually make the experience pain-free. One tip: I would cut up the large pad of adhesive knit into smaller, more usable sizes in advance -- or make sure to throw a small scissors into the box.
