Quality and fit and comfort

I had purchased this Breeze style sandal many years ago. Unfortunately they stopped manufacturing this style. Evidently this is was left over from some old stock. I use them as house shoes, when I noticed it online I was pleasantly surprised I ordered one to make sure it was the same quality I was use to, it was, since obviously Spenco will not feature this style again I went ahead and ordered two more, to me it was so worth it, the comfort alone, and quality was worth three purchases, in the past that combination of color pink&black I would NEVER order, I had no choice but very happy I purchased them great support if your flat footed especially in the Arch area.

Foot Dr Recommended Spenco for Plantar Fasciitis

I have plantar fasciitis in one foot and my foot doctor told me to get this brand. Most of our house is either tile or pergo, and she told me not to walk on hard surfaces without support. This was one brand she recommend. I do not like flip flops with something between the toes, so these looked pretty good online. I usually buy a 6.5 or a 7 in shoes, depending on how they run, and i went with the 7. While there is a little more room at the end beyond the toes than I would like, my feet which are wide do fit and they stay in the shoes when I walk. They don't come off or flop around. The dip for the heel is nice, and the arch support is not too much like with shoe inserts; i do not find these to be hard like some reviews stated but everyone has different experiences. According to my physical therapist, my arches are fine and the PF is due to leg weakness/limping and walking incorrectly from a knee surgery I had last year, but PF is painful and I am trying everything I can before my cortisone shot wears off to keep it away. They do look like beach shoes, and are very casual, so i dont know that i would wear them for anything besides being in the house or running errands but I basically needed something to replace slippers with no support, to go to the store in and things like that so I think they will work fine. I will update if any changes to this.

Great Support

I've invested in Spenco shoes for awhile, now. This is my fifth pair. I decided to go down a size due to other reviews and they fit nicely. I don't find them too wide, but I have a high instep which requires a wide fitting shoe. These are a little tight on the top of my foot, but the neoprene material will stretch a bit after a few wears. The footbed is the classic Spenco design and comfortable for me. Not super cushy and provides great support. I love Spenco because they help my leg fatigue and provide me with good alignment, that in turn helps with my back pain. I would recommend these slides. They're really cute and have the support and comfort you expect from this brand. Amazon's price was much better than other carriers of this style. I feel I got the best deal on a brand I love.

Great support

So very comfortable. I was looking for something to slip my feet into after coming indoors. I can not go barefoot due to plantar fasciitis. I found that these made changing shoes simple. Can’t wait for summer so I can wear them all the time. I will be ordering another pair. They might not be as cute as others, but very comfortable!” And supportive.

Runs a little large

They have excellent support BUT I’d like the elastic to fit more snugly, and I think Spenco really needs to start offering half sizes as an 8 is too small and the 9 is too large. Other than that, they’ll serve their purpose for wearing them to run to the grocery store or around the house. I think I’d prefer a better fit for a shoe I’d be wearing for an extended period of time or long walk.

I have purchased Spence sandals for several years. This style is perfect for problem feet (bubions). Very comfortable. I’m going to buy another pair.

Comfy

My third spenco. Love the quality and the good support. Soft , flexible upper. If your feet is a bit narrow this will still hold your feet but if you are a medium , it still has enough stretch. All my spenco sandals run a littbit large I think. My size is 8.5 and I ordered a 9 but I think 8 would be a little bit better fit. I am keeping it anyway.

Good Supporting Sandals

So far so good. Seems to provide good support for your feet. My only complaint would be I wish the price was a little bit lower - other than that I like the sandals.

I have bunions and these sandals are the first that I can wear without pain in many years! More assortment of colours would be nice though.

My favorite sandals

These are great sandals. I've bought 4 pairs of them within the past 10 years. Very good arch support. I can wear them for hours on end. They hold together well, don't fall apart. They stretch a bit though, which is why I end up getting a new pair, otherwise they are great.

Suberb!

These are worn as indoor slippers for hard tile floors, so have not been used for walking long distances. They are sooo comfortable. There is excellent cushioning and have everything I need, a heel cup, arch support and a metatarsal bar. Absolutely perfect
