Careful With An Aggressive Chewer

The first one didn't last a month and the stuffing was coming out after she chewed a hole in it. But our dog (an extremely aggressive chewer) long it, so we bought a replacement. Six weeks so far, fingers crossed...

Typical chew toy. Does not grunt. Great for retrievers.

Not a grunt toy

I have been looking for a toy that grunts instead of squeaking. This one came up saying it was a squeak/grunt toy. IT IS NOT. It will last MY dogs for awhile but a chewer or aggressive player will destroy it.

Not Honky-dory, just squeaked by

Had high hopes but there is only a squeaker in this thing. My puppy loves any grunt toys but they're hard to find so I was really excited about this after reading reviews. After about 30 minutes of only hearing squeaks and about 5 minutes of feeling around, it's pretty obvious that there isn't anything honking in this house today. Giving 3 stars because he likes it as much as his other squeaky toys (he'll give it the time of day about once a week) and it's holding up great but it's not what was described. Going to try that other brand's honky hedgehog and hope for the best!

After a few months it's still surviving and making annoying sound that my pug determines to kill

My 3yo pug loves squeaky soft toys. But the squeaky thing usually don't last for half hour under his vicious attack. And he then just lost interest. I came across this hedgehog toy with unique squeaky sound at local pet store and decided to get one for his birthday. Finally we settled on this listing. My pug loves it! The squeaky thing inside is bigger than usual and lasts long. After a few months it's still surviving and making annoying sound that my pug determines to kill. The size is good for my 20lb pug.

Not foŕ chewers

Agree not for chewers. I bought xl size for our puppy. It was a good size, cute. However was disappointed in how thin the fabric was, knew it would not last long. The pup was able to pull out the threads out that made up the body. She was able to open it up and get to the squeaker and stuffing. You definitely have to monitor when playing. She had a smaller one, different brand that lasted alot longer. I wont be purchasing another. Anything with stuffing just not a good idea when older than a couple of months. Maybe ok with little dogs, not sure.
