Love it!

Used for outdoor play with our 10 month old, he loves it. I will be using it for the next baby. The shade is perfect to get them out of the sun but you can also unzip one or both sides for them to get some sun! Not huge but not too small and easily transportable!

So worth it

We use this playpen daily in our small living room and have taken it to the beach as well. Love the UPF canopy. It does clean pretty easily, I sort of wish the fabric could come off the frame for machine washing but that’s on me for not looking for that. It’s been used and frankly a bit abused and still holding up well after 8+ months.

Love the coverage

Great size for babies to play and be contained, very easy to open , little tricky to put the straps around the bottoms at first you just have to loosen then no problem, padding on the floor could be thicker I put an outdoor rug or blanket under when outside , very easy to put the cover on and off way better than other brand. Definitely a busy caregivers lifesaver

Best Baby Buy Ever!

This saved me so much sanity! When my little one started the early stages of crawling I felt much better about putting him in this pop up playpen! I bought the extra mat that goes with it so I didn't have to worry about those hard falls straight back on his little head! He loves this thing and it's a safe space for him which is great for me! He's crawling a lot now so he want's to be more free but I still use this weekly when I'm cleaning the house to keep him contained! It's so easy to assemble and disassemble that it's not a hassle at all to get out! It ACTUALLY goes back in the bag with very little effort unlike most things! We use it while camping also and it's just really nice to have. Probably the best baby purchase I've ever made.

MOMS! GET THIS!

I spend alot of time outside gardening or at the beach and this is beyond perfect, it's easy to fold and go, the top helps give a good amount of shade, I've had other moms at parks and beach ask where I got it because they would love one. I highly recommend this for any mom. my 1 year old sits and plays for hours, also cleans easy she got raspberry juice on it and I wiped it off with a sanitizer wipe and it came right off. the padding bottom also is awesome for a bit a softness for your baby. love love this! get it! huge life saver many times many ways.

Serves its purpose

Works great to contain baby and keep dogs from bothering him. My only complaint is that he’s an early sitter and when he tumbles, the bars on the sides are not covered at all (except with the mesh liner) and he’s nailed his face once or twice. The padding on the bottom is minimal but that doesn’t bother us- we put it on carpet anyways.

Exactly what we needed for our grandkids!

This portable, foldable playpen has been excellent! It's sturdy, reliable, well made and is solid on the ground when kids are in it. The sun shade is easy to put on and has been wind resistant in backyard use. The bottom is well padded and soft. We have other Summer Infant products - portable high chair - and they are terrific! The laugh is that when our 4 and almost 5 year old grandkids saw this (which we bought for a 1yr old), they jumped into it as if it was a ball pit! It stood up to their size and activities, too!

Pretty Good

Good play pin, do need to be mindful of the frame arms, while they are on the outside of the mesh, little ones inside can still stumble and hit their head on them.

EXCELLENT!

This outdoor play-pen was absolutely perfect for our adventurous crawling toddler. We bought exclusively for camping and for those times when you need to put your toddler down but didn't want them scurrying off into the bush. -Set up is a breeze. Sturdy but not overbuilt. -Sun shade is a great feature -The padded bottom is perfect for the uneven/point surfaced ground. Had no fear of a pointy rock ripping/tearing through the bottom of the pad.

Not great. Some safety concerns.

Really like the size of this playpen and how easy it is to assemble, however, the way the bars are positioned on this playpen pose a potential hazard for little ones. Very easy for a small head to whack against the bars during play, especially for a little one just starting to move around. To make this work for us we had to use pool noodles to cover the bars as our little one is crawling and the bars are right at the height of her head. Anyway....it's ok. Probably wouldn't have purchased if I knew this, also considering the price.

Highly recommend

This takes literally 2 minutes to set up. Super easy and easy to put away as well, it’s not like other products where it takes 20 minutes trying to shove it back into the bag. The padding isn’t super thick but it’s soft enough that it’s fine on my wood deck or on the lawn. The sunshade doesn’t give full coverage unless the sun is directly above it so that kinda sucks but I just drape some thin blankets across to use for shade. The carrying bag is super small and lightweight so it’s easy to take with us everywhere whether it be walking or in the car.

Summer must have!

I love it. My baby is 6 months old and happily played in this outside today. There are a few flaws but I can hardly complain, it’s great for what it is. Pros: - The padding at the bottom is great - I’m glad I chose the one with the full canopy, it kept the sun of my baby in the middle of the day perfectly. - Easy to set up and take down - Way more compact than I expected when in the travel bag - My baby sits up unassisted but often falls over. Sitting in this on the grass she did not fall over once - i believe because it’s not a hard flat surface she was able to balance better. Although I was comfortable enough with the amount of padding and being on the grass that if she did fall over she wouldn’t hurt herself. Cons - When the sun was going down there was no longer any protection so I hung a blanket over where the sun was getting in - I was thinking of finding some netting that can go over the top to keep bugs out, however the holes in the netting attached to this thing are rather large so it might not keep bugs out regardless. There were definitely ants getting in. It would at least probably keep black flies out, not sure about mosquitoes. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to use it all summer, especially when crawling begins.

Love the idea. Wish the quality was better

Have enjoyed this but wish it was better quality. (Reason for my 3 star rating) I’ve used this 5 times now and already I’ve had to sew the carry bag back together. The straps that you slide over the bottom of the pen to hold it tight are already ripping so it’s a good thing I sew so that I can fix the straps on it or else I wouldnt be able to use it anymore. Love the canopy. Wish it had stronger clips that hold the canopy on. I also like that the bottom is padded. I’d say it is the perfect size for my 11 month old. (My 3 year old and 6 year old love to go in and play with my 11 month old and they all fit with a little room to spare)
