Beautiful shade. Great fabric and very easy to install
These are better looking than inline. Easy to install and the textured fabric looks high- end.

Impossible to use
Giving 2 stars because the blackout works great, however, we cannot for the life of us get the roller shade to work properly. It says to pull down twice to release, but nothing happens no matter what we do. We even tried flipping the direction of the blackout fabric since it’s just connect to the roller with double stick tape, and that didn’t work either. The clips on the Roman shade are not effective at holding it up. Maybe got a defective product, but we’re super disappointed.

Works well
I’m really happy with these! We bought them for my daughter’s room to make nap time easier. Her room is now significantly darker! I have to admit we didn’t follow the instructions entirely when putting it up though. It says there’s supposed to be a half inch space on both sides but ours does not have that. We actually had to squeeze it in a bit in our window. Aside from that though, it was super easy to put up. The instructions we received were really easy to follow but I felt that it was pretty self-explanatory as well. There are small gaps on the outside edges where light comes in but it’s wayyy darker in her room now than before so I’m really happy. The pattern does have some inconsistencies that look like dark spots and there is one edge where the stitching has come apart before we even put it up but aside from that, this looks really nice. It matches her room well. I wasn’t able to get the handle onto the bottom but it works well without that too. Pulling it down and putting it back up works really well. It’s kind of satisfying to watch it roll back up. We’ll probably be getting more of these for the master bedroom.

When rolled up all the way, it still covers a lot of the window
The Sun Zero Seraphina shade is basically a conventional roller shade with a folding shade layered over the top. The roller shade is a high quality fabric one, not just the papery plastic stuff, and the mechanism works smoothly. The folding shade is held onto the roller shade by clever sliding clips. The whole assembly has enough weight that it doesn’t snap up; you have to lift it. This is good because it is very controllable. But it’s a problem if you need to roll this shade up higher than you can reach, for example if you are using it on high windows in a room with cathedral ceilings. The biggest drawback, in my opinion, is that when the shade is rolled all the way up it still hangs down pretty far from the top. My shade is 64” long and when rolled all the way up it still hangs down about a foot. So if you inside mount it you will permanently give up a foot of light at the top of the window. It might be better to get a larger, longer shade, and outside mount it. I think it would look great like that, but remember you have to be able to reach it, too. So think carefully about whether it is suitable for your space.

These allow Zero Sun to pass through, hense the name
The media could not be loaded. First of all, the hardware included with shade was missing a spring. I contacted Amazon, and of course they were quick to find a solution. I chose to avoid any extra shipping costs on either end, and just use something I had already. I did contact the company that sold the shade, in hopes that maybe they could send me some more hardware, so I could hang it exactly like they had intended. I also wanted some instructions. THere were zero instructions, and I have never saw mounting hardware like these. I ended up not using any of their hardware. I never received a response at all from the company. "Contact us with any problems' statement, I found to be untrue. So, I finally got the shade installed with my own mounting hardware. Immediately, I noticed the folds weren't hanging to my specifications. I adjusted them, but they reverted back to the way they were before my adjustments were made. So I decided to keep the folds in place by attaching paper clips to the shade to prevent the clip from sliding down. It worked and clios were small enough they were undetectable from outside viewing. Velcro is along the last tier or fold to secure the 2 pieces together. If measured correctly, no light will shine around or through this shade. It has 2 layers. and a pull hanadle to put along the bottom of plastic layer. The top layer, which is the inside, is very thick twill material. Most issues were of my own choices. The shade quality is superior, but I wasnt crazy about the design style so I modified it to suit my own taste.

No install instructions
I could not figure out how to hang this curtain for the life of me. I studied the clamps and rod for about two hours. I read through all the reviews pertaining to installation and nothing was clicking. If there are no install instructions, how on earth are you supposed to install it? It's a beautiful curtain. I love the color. It goes great with the room I'm trying to hang it in. If it came with instructions, it would definitely get a five-star review. But alas, it did not. I finally figured it out. The clamps can only be installed on the ceiling above the window (in the frame, not the actual ceiling) or on the window frame. They go above the curtain, not on the sides. That's what threw me off. Once I figured that out, installation was a breeze! Besides the frustration of installing, I would definitely recommend. They are a little overpriced in my opinion, though. The curtain fit my window frame perfectly. It is nice and snug. There's just a sliver of light coming in around the sides, but that's to be expected.
