Light weight and durable

I really like that this hat has a sturdy brim. I use this hat while riding my recumbent trike. I ride about 15-18 mph. Even on windy days the brim doesn’t bend. The brim provides adequate shade from the sun. I do wish the tail of the hat was about an inch longer. I also like that this hat will fold and can be put into my luggage. Wish they had some brighter colors though. I have a large head and the L/XL size was almost too big. Their sizing chart seems correct also. Nice job!

Not as good as other hats from the same brand

I was excited to get the hat as I had another one from SunDay Afternoons that worked for years protecting me from the sun. Unfortunately this hat did little to protect my bald head from getting sunburned. It does have great ventilation and provides shade to my face and neck. It simply doesn't have the SPF of my old hat.

s/m is really a large. I had to modify the adjustment strap to bunch it up, deasn't look great with a lump in the back , but i made it work.

Excellent sun hat

I'd previously purchased a more traditional styled sunhat from Columbia, and although that one wasn't bad the brim was so floppy it made me look dorkier than necessary. So I decided to try this one and I'm really happy with it. It's marvelously light but still feels snug and not likely to blow off. The brim is stiff but has a gap in it to facilitate folding and so it packs down small. The coverage is excellent, particularly the back of my neck which is exposed with a traditional brim.

Serves me excelent in my work

I work in agriculture, and I have very specific need from my hat, and this one answer them all. Very light, and airy. Its front visor is sturdy, so it won't flip up when riding on open vehicle.

Now I have two!

OK. What can I say? I have been an Adidas fan forever...wearing their basic black ball cap. But I got tired of lathering up my neck each time I was to play tennis or pickleball or go for a hike. So I started wearing large sunhats. But they had a problem...you could not easily pack them in your backpack/tennis/pickleball bag as they weren't foldable. So I tried the Sunday Ultra-Adventure Hat. Problem solved! Pros: 1) the hat folds up very easily and compactly! I can stuff it in my tennis bag or pickleball bag without a problem! In fact it was so easy that I bought two of the hats...and keep one in my pickleball bag and one in my tennis bag. 2) the hat has a soft back-half that allows you to actually look up without the back rim running into your neck and disloging the hat. This is critical as you're going for the high lobs during a tennis game. 3) it's very light-weight...I hardly know it's there. 4) the sunglass holder (where you can insert your sunglasses into the two holes on top of your head) really works...I feel totally confident that my sunglasses won't fall off when I'm chasing down a ball. Cons: 1) the sizing is a bit bigger than I expected. I got the large, but I definitely found it was a bit too loose, and ultimately found that I needed to get the medium. 2) it's expensive...but I've rationalized that this is an investment in my health...as I don't want to get skin cancer and am doing as much as possible to keep the harmful rays off my face and neck. Nice light hat- flap is a bit short

This hat is nice but falls short of being fantastic. The flap hanging in the back only offers some protection of the neck. I was hoping it would really offer good protection of my neck and upper shoulder.

Comfy sun hat

Originally had the grey version but my hubby kept using it. So he bought me the pinkish one which I like even more. Folds up and fits in my handbag nicely and doesn't show any signs of being stuffed in the bag when you unfold it

Best hat for sun protection ever

Superb piece of kit. Lightweight, packs well thanks to the folding crease in the brim. Excellent protection, dries (the sweat!) quickly. Worked like a dream in the Scottish heatwave, and the broad brim works very well with a midge net. While the rear 'drapes' can flap a bit in the wind, they do let a nice breeze through for the back of the neck.
