Great for a drum sander
Drum sanders exist in a somewhat obscure niche of woodworking - higher end than a lot of home shops have use/space for and to low end for a pro shop that would otherwise use a wide belt sander. Not to mention that there are few definitive sources for how to cut a proper angle/taper on an abrasive so it properly fits a drum sander. So lots of folks who own drum sanders stick with buying overpriced products with pre-cut tapers and pre-determined lengths specified for their model of drum sander. Once you figure out the math and technique, however, the world is yours for buying abrasives in bulk at much lower cost than the manufacturer of your drum sander and its distributors would sell them for because you can buy any width you want, allowing you to prioritize price rather than being dependent on using an exist wrap as a template. That is where getting the math right is crucial because I purchased this thinking it would give me 4 wraps for my 18-36 Delta 31-250 drum sander, but I was wrong and I can only get 3 with a ton left over (but not enough for a 4th wrap). That is not a knock on this product, because it was entirely my fault. Given my experience I would trust the product description that says you could get 4 wraps for a 16-32 drum sander, but I cannot verify it. So here is the math for determining the length you will need for a single wrap of your drum sander drum: ((Circumference of the drum * length of drum) / width of abrasive) + circumference of the drum In my case that works out to being 110.25 inches per wrap. So I needed to buy one step up from this (38 feet) to get 4 wraps, but again, that is entirely my fault. I’ll leave it to you to go find a video or write up about how to cut the tapers properly, but I don’t trust the formulas used by most places since everything I read forgot to add the last “circumference of the drum” and therefore bought the wrong product.

Roll was short ~ 1 foot.
Roll was short ~ 1 foot which limited number of segment lengths achievable for drum sander thus wasting paper and value.

Very aggressive
Installed on grizzly drum sander and so far I’m pleased by the amount of wood it takes off

Easy to work.
I used this on my 18” finish sander from Grizzly. Holds up well does not clog up like cheap sandpaper.

Not durable at all.
Upon second use paper ripped on relatively small passes. Would be a one if not for the price.

good sandpaper
Bought this for my Jet drum sander to save money. Turns out it's also vastly superior to the precut junk that Jet sells. Cuts well, doesn't clog up so bad.

Works for my Preformax drum sander
The price is good and quality is fine. I will be buying more as needed.

Not very durable.
Doesn't last as long as other brands I've used.
