Very poor value proposition - 5 or 15 bulbs failed within 2200 hours use - no where near the 30,000 hours indicated.
While these bulbs look great when they are new, the longevity is no where near the advertised "30,000" hours. Based on my experience you will be lucky to get a life as long as a standard incandescent bulb, and you are paying ten times the price of an incandescent. So the value proposition is extremely poor. To be specific, I installed 15 bulbs to identify a taxiway path at a hangar. The bulbs were installed in April, 2015. By October, 2015, 5 of the 15 bulbs had failed. The bulbs are energized approximately 12 hours a night, sunset to sunrise. So 183 nights times 12 hours a night means the bulbs have been in operation for 2196 hours - and five have failed within this time. While it's nice to have a bulb that takes only 1.7 watts, you won't be saving money if you are replacing these bulbs frequently, as my experience indicates.

Puts out a great amount of light for such a small bulb. Not suitable for a flood light. This bulb was designed for a different application than I intended it for, that's why it didn't work for me. The bulb should work well for other purposes however.

Bought for my kids
I bought this for the little lamp in my kids' room because they always want to sleep with a light on. My husband is an architect and specifies amber lighting in fire stations because if it has to be on then it's better for falling asleep or if you wake up. Changing it to an amber light has helped so much by keeping their room dim. They go to sleep faster and stay asleep better because there's not a bright light on in their room. It tricks the eyes into thinking it's still dark.

Nice looking LED bulb
Nice looking LED bulb, but not bright enough to use as a bug light. Will keep it though. Will probably find another use for it.

Bought the first bulb in December and liked it so I bought more
Bought the first bulb in December and liked it so I bought more. The first bulb burned out. Lasted 6 months. Off to try another brand and hope it lasts longer than 6 months

Love this bulb to show support for law inforcement. Actually bright enough that you can tell it is blue and can actually see by the light it emits! Also love that I am saving money since it is led.
