Just What I Wanted
My queen size bed is fairly high (36 inches from the top of the mattress to the floor). I ordered the queen size in white. After reading many reviews, as soon as I opened the package, I measured the lenght and width prior to washing. The pillow shams measured greater than stated on the package. The Jacquard Matlasse Fleur De Li Medallian bedspread also measured wider than stated, but shorter by 4 inches. After washing, I measured again. The pillow shams shrank, but were still larger than the stated width and length. They fit the pillows nicely. The Matlasse bedspread also shrank, but was still generously long to reach the top of the mattress and still hang down at the bottom. The width hangs down on both sides of a tall bed as shown in the pictures. The bottom corners could be tuck bedhind the foot board. It is 100% cotton, so unless stated, one needs to expect shrinking during the first wash. The round medallion design is surrounded by a square design. It is of a medium weight which is expected due to the weight of a substantial 100% cottom fabric of this size. I accordian fold down the bedspread from the top at night and drape the bedspread at the bottom. It could be used as a cover. I would buy this again.

I like the pattern
It just feels like quality material. I found the pattern to be pleasing. The bed spread was true to size if not a little big. The color was a soft neutral shade just what I was looking for. I would purchase this item again if I need a replacement.

Glad I ordered.
Nice quality, great color. I ordered a king and a twin to accommodate my guestroom. They are very much oversized, and both did shrink after washing, but still a generous fit on both beds. I am thinking about ordering the Ivory.

Wash and Dry First!!!
Very nice bedspread, but couldn’t believe the amount of lint that came off in the dryer! Had to run it through twice and stop it halfway each time to empty my two lint traps. Even after doing this it “shed” some more. It did shrink a little but looks fine. Good value

Liven up your bedroom !!
It is gorgeous! Such a wonderful color. Such breathtaking stitching. I have always wanted to sew an Autumn quilt. I found an adorable picture of four cats with their tails intertwined in the middle. This is going to work PERFECTLY underneath that bed quilt. It's so big (I bought the king sized 120"x120") that I won't ever need a dust ruffle. Lots and lots of color shows from underneath my quilt. The large pillow shams really tie it all together. Woohoo !!

Paid $80.00 for a kind size spread - great value.
I ordered the "silver" but it was a grey. The grey we got has a little purple in it... not much but it leans toward purple. I love it. Perfect weight for summer. Hangs square on the bed. Fits our California King perfectly. Thinking about getting another color. Well made! Super happy with it.

Happy with this overall, but some cautions
This is a heavy-weight cotton weave product with a pleasing design. I bought the ivory version for an antique spool bed, and the bottom has to be tucked in. I also intended to wash it, so I did that immediately with the hot water setting on my front-loading machine, expecting it to shrink somewhat. Then it went on the clothesline to dry. When wet, it is really heavy to handle, so you need a quality clothesline that will handle the load and strong arms to heave it over the line! All edges are firmly and securely hemmed with carefully mitred corners (the bottom corners are not rounded, so would definitely drag on the floor if you had a low bed like that shown on the picture on the package cover). The design was fluffed up a bit and therefore emphasized after laundering. How much did the bedspread shrink? According to the measurements I did beforehand, it shrank 3 inches in width and about 6 inches in length. Since the width was already wider than the queen-size sheets I use, that amount of shrinkage was not a problem. The measured length was also generous, and even though it is a bit shorter than most queen sheets I have, it is still long enough to completely cover my fluffy pillows and push a bit of a fold beneath them. There has been no further shrinkage with additional launderings and even a “sensor dry” spin in the dryer. The amount of shrinkage in the pillow shams is not significant. I do not use shams, and these are almost square and not appropriate for my bed pillows. If you sleep with the top of the bedspread folded down from the level of the sheet and blankets, you might find the extra weight uncomfortable until you get used to it. It was definitely an extra layer that I did not want during warm summer nights - nights that needed more warmth than a sheet. This summer I may simply tuck in the extra length of the bedspread at the bottom and leave the pillowcases uncovered (I have no pets that sleep on my bed0.

Very pretty, large white bedspread
Great bedspread. It’s very pretty. I got the white and it is not shiny at all (so not cheap looking). I thought it was a bit rough at first, but it must have softened a little bit because now I find it very comfortable. The size is great for my queen sized bed. It covers the mattress completely, but doesn’t drag on the floor. It fits in my washer and dryer. I washed before using, so I’m not sure if it shrunk at all, but it’s a good size and I didn’t need to size up. If you want it to cover your entire bed, and/or you have a very high bed, then maybe you would want to size up? No shedding or pilling yet. Wonderful for spring and summer because it’s lightweight and breathable. I pair it with bamboo sheets in the summer. Now that it’s fall, I need to add another blanket. I expect I will pair it with a duvet in winter. But this will be the top layer, because it really is quite pretty to look at.

Item Quality is Outstanding
We needed a bed cover that would not have us sweating in our hot Manitoba summers. This item is the perfect Goldilocks item for our needs. The sage colour is beautiful, not too dark and not too light. The item weight is not too heavy and not too light. The fabric matelasse pattern is timeless. The cover is 100% cotton, so is breathable. Finally, it washed up perfectly without any noticeable shrinkage. All in all, a very elegant, high quality item that I would definitely order again.

LOVE IT
I just LOVE this bedspread. It is so elegant. Lightweight and perfect for summer ...or winter if you have a blanket underneath. Love that it is so wide and drapes over the bed almost to the floor. Our bed is two twins put together so not quite a king...width of a king but not length....as I read the king sized went right to the floor I chose a Queen and it works fine. The only complaint I would have is that the bottom corners are not curved and the fabric touches the floor. Being white it gets dirty. Solved the problem by turning the corners under the mattress keeping it up off the floor. Haven't washed it yet but think it will be fine on gentle. And what a great price.

Nice material
The color and length was perfect but when unfolded, it had a yellow rectangular stains in different parts. It seems to me, the carton it is folded in transfer the stain. Material is very nice but not thick enough, it is more for very hot places. I returned it.
