It is that extra holding hand.

Heavier than I expected. But that is a good thing. Should take the work I will put it to. So far the only bad thing, I cannot find some of the accessories like the log jaws.

Poor Quality Control

Just bought this and delivered today. Opened the box and a screw fell out, then a rubber O-ring. Reading and following the very fine print instructions, I couldn't get one leg to unfold. Turns out that's where the O-ring came from. Disassembling the leg as much as possible, I found a bent spring that shot a ball bearing somewhere into oblivion. Now I could deploy the leg. When fully assembled the name plate, missing one screw and held in place by a very loose second screw that wouldn't tighten, quickly fell off while trying out the clamping system. The clamping system seemingly does work as advertised, over a fairly wide range of sizes. Use and experience will tell me more. It's disappointing to buy a new, expensive piece of equipment and have pieces fall off before I even get to use it. And to have to troubleshoot the problem with deploying the stuck leg. The ball bearing, o-ring, name plate and two ill fitting screws are in the bag with the manual. Always a good sign to put something together and have pieces left over. This is my first Triton purchase and I won't be in a hurry to get another.

This is really nice, but missing minor parts.

Just got this. Set it up and it seems to be really solid, heavy and stable. Clamped the instruction booklet and held it tight, released easily. It arrived in a slightly abused box, with one of the jaw pads loose in the box. The buttons that help hold the pad in place were not found. I have emailed Triton through their website and might update later. The buttons really are relatively unimportant to the function of the tool, but the tool should arrive complete.

Good but hard to install/uninstall

Well made but I wish Triton would design an easier way to install/uninstall them since I don't keep them on there all the time.

TO BE AWARE OF:

1. Shipping container was EXTREMELY damaged. Delivered by FEDEX. All interior foam protective packaging broken. 2. Based on the handling damage, paint was scratched and chipped on the SuperJaws. 3. Manual has MICROSCOPIC print. Not usable. If needed, reference the one on the Triton website so that you can enlarge it. Even so, very little useful information. 4. Front legs have a totally ineffective storage security latch. Does not work. A ball-bearing retainer on each leg (supposed to pop into the hole on the leg), but it does not support the leg when closed. Will need to wrap a bungy cord around the unit. 5. Mechanically, the unit is sturdy and should work as advertised, but BEWARE of these other issues.

He absolutely loves it. Very sturdy and stable workhorse. He uses it in his workshop, in the garage and out in the yard for firewood and construction.

Ike that it’s very stable and holds everything that I have put on it. The tabs on the foot bracket (part you push down to tightened the vice) needs to be a little wider to hold the legs from unfolding, when it’s in the stored position.

Recibí el producto sellado en su caja un poco maltratada, el producto luce nuevo solo que de las patas delantera la plancha q apoya en el piso llego doblada y con señas de un golpe fuerte que la doblo en forma de cuchara el problema es q soy de México y el producto me lo enviaron desde EU a ver si el vendedor se pone en contacto para q me envíe una pata de repuesto y no tener q devolver el equipo

works great, removes and folds on and off easily

Exactly as described. The tray fit my Superjaw perfectly, works great, removes and folds on and off easily. Only concern was that the package was left leaning against the front door of my house in clear view of anyone walking or driving by to be easily stolen. The delivery driver should have taken the package back to their truck and left a note asking for delivery instructions.
