Defects, wobbly and annoying to assemble
As the picture shows the second item to come out of the box in the first step has a hole missing. The overall tightening of the screws doesn’t really have room for the provided length Allen key. At the end of assembly the item wobbles unless you place padding to even out the legs.

Adjustable matress height, and convertible as they grow
Simple enough to put together, looks nice when assembled. Not as sturdy as it looks in the pictures, but with a little adjusting was able to get it not to wobble. The adjustable mattress height is a huge plus and along with the ability to convert from crib to toddler to standard kids bed, it makes the price point a breat value.

Very strong and high quality crib, but conversion kits sold separately!
We have a 2-year-old toddler and wanted a cute but strong bed for her. This was way better built than I expected. We initially had an old IKEA crib and it was literally held together with wooden dowels and four screws on each end of the bed. This crib was significantly better constructed and stronger than the IKEA bed. The good: 1. First the entire crib is made of solid wood. It's pine - a soft wood but better than particle board or MDF cheap furniture is made of. This is great to keep your little ones safe and can hold a good amount of weight from jumping and abuse that kids will inevitably do. 2. Instead of using wooden dowels that most furniture use to join pieces, this crib uses metal (I am guessing steel) dowels for structural joints. These steel dowels, while thinner, are MUCH stronger than wooden dowels and will keep the joints from tearing apart. The crib still uses a few wooden dowels but only for non-structural joints just to hold pieces together. All of the dowels used in the base that would be weight bearing are steel. 3. The crib uses long steel bolts to join structural pieces together. There are no nuts to use as the nuts are imbedded into the wood simplifying assembly and adding strength. Our old IKEA crib required bolts along with reciprocal nuts to join pieces which was cheaper to manufacture but more annoying to put together. 4. The crib was designed beautifully. I really like the white and natural wood two-tone design. It's a very attractive crib and the ability to transform it into a toddler bed and day-bed (more below) gives it longevity as an attractive piece of furniture. All of the joints in the crib are also recessed and hidden (see last photo) so you don't see bolts and nuts everywhere. All of the fastener hardware are well hidden out of eyesight and makes the crib look seamless and beautiful. It is very thoughtfully designed. 5. Assembly of the crib was pretty straightforward and took approximately 30-45 min and only needed one included allen wrench. All of the hardware were clearly labeled and in one packet. The bad: 1. The main issue I had with this bed was the metal spring base. The actual base that you place the mattress on is a metal spring cage that is suspended by metal springs. While this is sturdy, the metal springs squeal and pop as you move on it and the noise can disturb our toddler as she moves around during the night. I have seen other cribs that use taught fabric and wood that was also springy but not noisy. 2. While the bed advertises as it can transform into a daybed, a toddler bed, and even a twin bed, all of these options require additional purchase of other parts. For example if you want a toddler bed, you need the additional guard rail for another $50 and if you want to make it a twin bed, it will require the base and slats for $160. You are only using the crib's side boards as head and foot boards for the twin bed. The entire reason we wanted this crib was for the other growth options. The crib is already $300 which is pricey and you will have to spend another $210 for the other parts as your toddler grows up (and you still have to pay for the mattresses). You can conceivably buy an entire child's twin bed with mattress for that price. Overall this is a great crib but beware of the trap for the other upgrade options they offer. If you buy it, know that you will have to pay for more parts down the road.

Excellent Product
The product is great, good quality material, all parts were perfect and after put together was very sturdy. Everything was so organized, all the parts and hardware in the right place and numbered which makes a big difference because you know for sure you are assembling the right part. The user manual is clear enough and it took me about one hour and a half to put together. The reason a gave it 4 starts is the fact that it’s not clear in the product description that even though it says it’s a 5 in 1 product you can only assemble the crib with the parts provided. For the others you need to buy the extra parts. The crib is great but I’d have expected more clarity on that.

Comparable to the Babyletto Hudson crib. SAFE Paint! GREAT crib!
This crib is fantastic! I love the grey hue. It is soothing. It is perfect for a space themed nursery and really, it matches a lot of themes and colors. It is well-made. It took quite a bit of time to put together, but, once done, it is a strong, quality product. This crib is WAY too similar to the Babyletto Hudson crib, but at a better price point. The best part, of course, is the SAFETY aspect of this crib. Unlike others that are just painted randomly, this crib is actually greenguard gold certified, which means that it is safe for your baby. They won't be breathing toxic fumes. That makes this crib worth it. I like it and recommend it!
