The chairs are nice but they did not come with the silver bar on the foot rest. I do think that that feature would have made them more elegant. That's why I gave 4 stars. The nail heads are chrome, which I like. The picture I believe they look gold. I was pleased with the packaging! They came assembled and that was exciting!!! They are comfortable but the seat is not a wide enough for a person that is hippy to sit in. I got them because my husband liked them and I was looking for chairs that were easy to clean. If your counter is 36" in height, these chairs will fit perfectly.

Didn't have metal foot rail which was a deal breaker for us!
Our counter stools did not come as pictured. They were missing the metal foot rail which was a deal breaker for us. Amazon however was great in coordinating the return. We found the style a little too busy for our kitchen but that's just personal taste. Please note that this stool is 26" tall and is a little high for a standard counter height kitchen. All in all didn't work out for us and we had to return them.

just got this one delivered, and they turned out to be very nice for the price. looks more on the $300 plus category. *update* beautiful stools, however padding not too great. After lightly using it for close to a year, padding seems to be wearing out, and beginning to feel the wood structure

Great chairs
I just unpacked my new Milano chairs, and I am in love :) They are well-made and handsome. Nice balance and size. Buying them was a bit of a gamble, because I could not see the seat height in product description. It is, in fact, 26", and the seat is quite firm, no sagging down when one seats down. So it is rather a taller counter stool than a bar stool, technically. Just like the other reviewers have said, they come assembled and lovingly packed. They do feel like a steal, one does not say "oh, good quality for the money" - with these chairs one just would say "great quality!" I will buy one more soon.

These stools are the best purchase I have made for my new home
These stools are the best purchase I have made for my new home. They look exactly like the pictures and come packaged very carefully. We have been using them for 4 months now and they wipe clean (even with a 4 year old). We added felt pads to the feet to move easily on the dark hardwoods. I would highly recommend these stools. They are beautiful!

Lovely
These were a sent quickly, arrived in perfect condition, packaged carefully, and better than described. Very lovely, and I am very pleased with Amazon. I must say, I have avoided Amazon for years because the one time I did just them, my card got hacked, but this was a gift card, so I did not fear. overall, very good experience, great quality, and these look great very swanky in my kitchen!
