Unattractive but some good features

I wanted a bar chair that swiveled, had a foot rest, had a high (padded) back and one with arms. Hard to find at a decent price. This chair checked all the boxes so I got two of them. They are not very pretty with the dirt brown Naugahyde material but hey, they are great to sit in and you can't say that about a LOT of bar stools. Other than the material, I highly recommend them. I just looked at new price..$220 each...no way! I paid $115 and $120 for the other. They have about doubled in price.

Needs improvements

Bought this because it is the only bar stool with arms and good looks. The height to the arms is 1/2 inch taller than stated, so the arms rub up against the underside of the counter. I’m sure over time the arms will get torn up. The instructions are, well nonexistent. There are no, count them, zero written instructions. In stead it only comes with confusing graphics. Be prepared to plan on making mistakes and figuring out how to proceed on your own. Finally, the seats are very large and the depth has the seat putting pressure on the middle of my legs toward my knees. All of these things would normally cause me to return them, but I don’t want to go through the trouble of taking it apart and boxing it for return. I might take them to goodwill so I can at least get a tax deduction.

Comfortable and sturdy

These chairs are easy to assemble and very sturdy. The padded back and adjustable tilt are comfort features most bar chairs don't have. Very happy with these.

Too tall!

I didn't put it together till it was too late to return. Beautiful chair. Comfortable. STURDY. I bought the counter height and it is a bit too tall. This one fits perfect under the bar height. But not counter height for the new house. I WAS going to buy 3 more. I wonder if we can cut the legs a bit.

It is a price for a sturdy chair. You have to make sure you put it together correctly though.

TO SELLER: Purchased 1 counter stool; loved it! Additional purchased of 3 counters and 2 barstools. Barstools arrived and put together; nice! There boxes arrived 2 days later, labeled counter stool and same item #; great! One box down, two more to go. Box two looked a little disturbed, hardware page had a small hold and missing items. No problem, I told the hardware from the last box and kept going—DONe! Oops????, this is a barstool in a counter stool box????. I am very pleased with the comfort and sturdiness of my3 counters and 2 barstools. The top half of the 4th counter remains partly together. REQUEST: Replacement of 4 counter legs and another hardware bag. Is this feasible, instead of returning the item, which is difficult to repack?

Noted Difference between the Bar Stool and the Counter Seat

Love the look, but know that the Bar Stool is taller than the Counter Stool. Did not realize it until after it arrived and I had it together. Might want to put that in an image on the page to better distinguish between the two. I had to dig for that information, once the Counter Seat arrived, because I did not realize they were different heights originally. Nice look however and easy to assemble. You simply have to leave the screws loose until you get them ALL started. Then you can tighten them down and it all fits together well. BTW Seat height on the Counter Stool is 26". Seat Height on the Bar Stool is indicated as 30".
