Not all wood

Since there are no reviews I thought I’d put this out there for anyone interested in these. They are nice looking -but, the bottom round rung is not wood. It is painted to look like wood. I received the stool with the wood look paint chipped and missing in 5-7 places. I’m not sure how well they would stand up to use with the painted rung. Possibly mine was defective though. Nice looking overall.

Nice product

Very nice quality, comes in large box mostly assembled, 8 screws total with allen wrench that comes with it. Heavy yet swivels without recoil, worth the money.

Good quality. Easy assembly.

We tried 5 different chairs before deciding on this. We purchased 6 of them. The 26 inch seat height is perfect. 26 inches is measured as seated. It's about 27 inches visually. Our counter-height table is 37 inches. The wood foot rest ring has metal on the top to reduce wear. The seat cushion is soft but not too soft. It seems bottomless. The back rest is higher and a little further forward compared to the (Armen Living) Boston model. I also liked the Boston and we kept one of them for a counter height desk. Easy assembly for both models. The seat is attached to the lower leg assembly using the enclosed bearing swivel assembly. 8 bolts using a 4 mm socket-head wrench.
