Old Fashioned Perfection

This is exactly the sifter my mother used when I was growing up. After using a disc sifter which never cleared all the powder and using a wire sieve with the "tap and shake" method which usually wasted powder that didn't quite make it into the bowl, I remembered this handy rotary sifter!! I was delighted to find that it is still available! I have used it twice and it is just what I remember - neat, efficient, thorough and easy to use and clean. :-) Highly recommended.

It works!!

Fit over container and just poured the material in to sift. Works perfect. Material was bee pollen already ground up but clumpy. Worked great. Worth the money.

It may be an excellent flour sifter, but...

It may be an excellent sifter, but what stands out is that they seem to have found the stickiest substance known to man to adhere the product stickers. The tape and sticker attached come off after a bit of coaxing but you are left with gobs of sticky residue that no amount of elbow grease will fully remove. This, to me, is an automatic deduction in stars as the sticky patches will pick up god knows what and especially flour. Companies have perfected the stickers that leave no trace behind when removed and this seems like the perfect product for one of those.

Crank Is Difficult To Turn

The material feels a bit flimsy but holds up, I put it in the dishwasher and it survived unharmed so very happy about that. It’s the crank that is the problem. It jams and is not a fluid motion, it also pushes the flour up to one side so you have to shake it and then reverse to bring it back down. It’s definitely not high quality but eventually gets the job done.

Dollar store quality, not worth it

This is dollar store quality at best. It's built incredibly flimsy, feels cheap, and the crank turns very stiff. I almost never leave bad reviews and this will probably be lost in the sea of positive ones but the price gouge is ridiculous.

Smaller than I thought

Although it says 3 cups...it would actually hold 3 cups in the flour was right to the top...which is not the best given that as soon as you turn the handle you get flour everywhere.

Not as expected

Cheaply made and keeps coming apart a handle
