Get what you paid for, runs a little small
I'm not sure if these are just cheap shoes or if they're selling factory defects for cheap, but like another review mentioned mine came with some of the rubber sole material smeared on the mesh toe.It doesn't affect the usability of the product but it doesn't look nice. I buy tennis shoes in a size 7 but have short toes so they are usually a little roomy in the toes. This fit almost too small at a size 7, my toes pushing slightly against the very end of the mesh toes, so if you are a half size normally, I'd say buy a size up from your regular size, especially if you have wide feet. These are $10 water shoes so they're not going to be great quality or last you a lifetime. You do get what you pay for. On my monitor the pink looked hot pink but they're much more of a true pink. The soles I think feel a little flimsy but the appears feel solid. The cord for the ankle strap is nice and thick. I like the loop on the front of the shoe that helps you pull them on. Another reviewer had mentioned that these let sand in. I assumed she meant when walking on the beach and getting dry sand in them, but no, even when you're in the water sand gets inside. I only wear them for kayaking so I'm not walking in them very long but I think they would be really uncomfortable for all day wear. I'll likely be upgrading next summer. So good for $10 and one summer's use but not good enough to be the permanent solution.

Looks and fits great, but won't hold up long to aqua aerobics.
I normally wear a women's 6 - 6 1/2, extra wide shoe. The size 7 fit quite nicely in width and length. There is an elastic around the top that can be tightened up for a close fit, which you need in the water. Happily, they were wide enough to accomodate my very wide feet. I liked the way they looked and felt on my feet, that is until I started my aqua aerobics class. The insoles of both shoes kept sliding around as I worked out. After the hour long class, the insole was bunched up under my toes. I'm going to try something like Shoe Goo to see if that works on keeping the insoles in place. I thought about using an upholstery needle and stitching it throught the sole in a few places, but I'm afraid that the abrasion from the bottom surface of the pool will just tear through the stitches. And speaking of abrasion, the little nibs on the bottom of the sole are great for slip resistance. However, after an hour long aqua aerobics class, the nibs were all worn off from the part of the sole that kept hitting the abrasive bottom surface of the pool. Based on the amount of wear to the sole from just one workout, I'm guessing that these will last me 1-3 months tops, going to class twice a week, before the sole is completely shredded. And I think I'm being generous here. It's quite possible that these shoes will perfom better on the beach or around a swimming pool, rather than an aerobics workout. I think the abrasiveness of the sand would be much more forgiving than the workout I gave them on the abrasive pool floor. I love the way they look. I love the fit. I love the way they feel in the water. But they are just not going to hold up to my needs, and I so very much wanted them too.

Pretty good for minimal / barefoot walkers
I got these for minimal walking (walking with little to no support from your shoes) and they work great so far for that. I was concerned that the sole would be a bit too thin, as I walk a lot on dirt and rock paths, but they're actually much nicer for that stuff then my old converse were, probably because my foot has more grip with each step. However, walking on the pavement and rocks and stuff has already worn down parts of the bottom. They are definitely still wearable, but I'm a bit concerned for how long they'll last. I'm not too upset about that since they were so cheap and I'm using them for something that they weren't meant for, just pointing it out for anyone that might buy these for the purpose of minimal walking. I wear between a 7 1/2 to 8 depending on the shoe, so I got the 8 and it fits perfectly. Also, they're not too terrible looking for a water shoe. I'm pretty mellow about what I wear in public, but even if I wasn't I probably wouldn't have too much of a problem with how they look. Overall, will probably buy again when these wear out.

Great-fitting water shoes.
I was so happy to find water shoes at the end of the season! I need them for a cruise in a couple of weeks and they arrived right on time. They came in plastic packaging, which was fine. It protected the shoes, which is all that really matters. I will say that after removing them from the packaging, there was a strong "rubbery" smell. These do not come in half sizes so I suggest you round up. I wear an 8 1/2 so I purchased a size 9 and they fit just fine. The shoes have a pull closure on the back that allows you to tighten them based on how snuggly you want them to fit. The color is great-black and purple, and they have a nice ribbed rubber sole, which provides really good traction. I don't plan to wear them on pavement - just for walking in the sand and for use in the water, and walking on deck of the cruise ship. I was so pleased with these that my husband wants some, too.

Good for the Price - Not for the Beach
Summary: While I would recommend this shoe for every day use at the pool, I would not recommend it for a day at the beach. The shoes are too thin for that. I'm still glad I bought them. This is a great deal for the price (about $10 when I purchased them). It's actually more comfortable than the $25 pair I bought later! However, after wearing the shoes a half-dozen times at the pool, some of the tread has already rubbed off. Also, the shoes are thin, with almost no support. This means you can feel every rock underneath your feet, and it does not help provide traction or balance.

I typically wear a 9.5 and sometimes a 10 so I ordered the 10 and they fit perfectly. They worked for what I needed. We went to an adventure park and were walking through caves and on stone throughout the whole day. Halfway through the day there were many spots on the bottom of the shoe where the "knobs" had completely worn off. They lasted the rest of the day, but I would suggest using them more for activities on softer ground like on the beach if you are looking for a long-term water shoe. I just needed them for that day so they worked great for that.

Used them for ziplining in the jungle & cave tubing & it was great. They’re comfy
Bought these for our cruise vacation for Excursions. Used them for ziplining in the jungle & crystal cave tubing & it was great. They’re comfy, cute & not bright colours & busy looking patterns! The bottom grip was good & nothing ripped or teared. And I like the adjustable back to loosen or tighten the water shoe. And the price is good.

Very comfortable, keeps the feet warm indoors and even for a few minutes outdoors on a freezing winter's day. However, the little knobbies on the outer sole started coming off after a few days of wearing. So what? Just sweep them up .. unless you have small children crawling around your home, they will pick them up and try to eat them. Not healthy. I have a home day care and have had to abandon wearing these indoors when the children are here. Apart from this issue, I like these shoes.

Great value! We've used them on a couple trips!
The little plastic grips on the shoes will wear off on the first day but its still better than walking barefoot over rocks. The sole will get all folded and out of place but I think that goes for all watershoe soles.
