Perfect for stripped cabinet screws

Slightly bigger around and longer than standard cabinet screws, but still a good fit in the hinge. I replaced all the cabinet hinges in my home, (60 in all), and used up a whole box of these for the stripped ones. The screws for the doors are shorter, so these are too long. But the longer original screws for attaching to the cabinets did work for the doors. So while replacing the hinges, there was a lot of swapping going on for stripped ones. Now that I’m done, I’ll buy another box to have on hand for future use. I suppose these could be cut shorter with dike pliers, to fit into the cabinet doors, should that ever become necessary.

good hardware

Based on previous experience with Hillman Group hardware I purchased these screws along with other types oval head screws to used on various projects. I can't get good hardware locally, the hardware store guy didn't know what a oval head screw was. I've used Hillman Group hardware in the past and highly recommend them.

Great screws but pricey!

I needed small decorative screws to hang a really cute rabbit shaped wall art. Nothing I saw in hardware stores was appropriate to be in plain sight on the wall. These screws were perfect. The only negative was that I had to purchase so many more than were needed for this use. They turned out to be really expensive screws!!
