HEAVY DUTY DESIGN, BUT I WISHED IT'S ANOTHER INCH LONGER
I put up a sail sun screen to prevent my plants from dying and also keep the back patio cool during the 105-117 degree heat. Problem with this anchor is not the material, it's the length of it. I am using it on a cinder block and the body of the ancho is not long enough to protrude past the cinder block wall to anchor much stronger. Other than that, the material is heavy duty.

Five Stars
Worked great to mount a tv in a brick wall that wouldn't hold lead anchors.

Size could be better stated
This is a 1/4”-20 threaded end and it has a 5/16” sleeve diameter.

Basic sleeve anchor. However, the torque spec for 5/16” sleeve anchors is 8-12ft/lbs. I had one of these anchors shear at the nut before 12ft/lbs. I went down to 8 for the rest, for fear that they wouldn’t even handle 10. 1/4” screws have shear torque ratings anywhere from 5-15. I would have thought that if someone is going to manufacture a specific anchor, they would manufacture it to hold up to standard specifications.

Poor quality
Newer designs will include a place to hit the shank with a hammer without damaging the threads. These do not have that. The metal is also quite soft. Don’t put too much torque.

Worked perfectly to hold down gazebo to concrete deck
Very easy to use. Tap into hole and tighten
