Not quite as described
The needle doesn't drift as much as several reviewers mentioned. The reason I only gave 3 stars is because the needle should be black or red. It matches the face of the scale. Really hard to read the weight. If you weigh anywhere between the 10# marks you can't tell what the actual weight is. Several reviewers mentioned this but I didn't realize it would be this annoying. So the scale is not as described because it's not easy to read.

EXCELLENT ALTERNATIVE TO THE DOCTOR'S SCALEs. This scale does not jump around each time you step on it, like a lot of electronic scales do. You can get on and off several times and it will weigh you the same amount each time. So I trust this more than a scale that weighs you 3 different weights within a few minutes time frame. Electronics might say 152, 157, 148 in 3 minutes. so which weight am I? This one will weight 154 154 154 by stepping on it three times. I put the scales on a hard floor surface. Works well. Love it. Very good value for the money. I like this better than more expensive electronic digital read out scales!!

I'm happy with purchase
I really like this scale. After purchasing 3 useless digital scales in the past. I only gave it 4 stars because it is hard to read. Should have had a black background with all white letters, the grey ones are useless. The pointer should have been painted red, once again the grey is useless. Just to make sure it was correct, I recently was weighed at the Dr. and when I got home I weighed myself on this scale and it matched.

Great for staying on track!
This scale seems to be very accurate; however, I feel like anytime you move it (i.e. out from the wall/corner to actually be able to stand on it) it is no longer zeroed and you have to reset it before every use. It is very easy to use, but a little hard to tell your exact weight (could be my older eyes).

Best bathroom scale
It’s lightweight and very flat. It slides under my vanity for easy storage. The stand platform is wider and provides a normal spacing between feet which then contributes to balance. This scale provides an accurate weight within a few seconds and has large numbers that are easy to read. Someone put a lot of thought into the design. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Accurate scale
I wanted a scale that is durable and that i can see. Sadly i cant see the display, but there is a way to view it. Just take a picture with your phone and zoom in and look at that. If that is the only reason, there is no reason to return. Give it a try. And by all means it is best on a hard surface away from humidity, no harsh cleaners.

Analog Scale vs Digital Scale
I purchased a digital scale and it did not last long. I spent a alot of money on it. I purchased it at one of those home goods stores. It was difficult to calibrate and eventually it stopped working. I decided to try an analog scale and I really like how easy it is to use. The best feature is the wide, sturdy, nonskid platform to stand on. I like how easy it is to weigh in. This scale is best scale I'd ever owned. I think is worth the money spent. Probably will last a lifetime.

Great Once I Figured Out How To Zero This Scale
I was perplexed how to zero this scale since it had an extra 2-4 pounds added to it past zero when set on a tile floor surface. I finally found an answered question that indicated a small adjusting dial at the end of the scale in the middle. Once I found that I was able to zero it and like this scale a lot.

Seems to keep an accurate weight
Now that I have used this scale for a couple of weeks, I am pleased with it overall. It seems to keep an accurate weight. My husband uses it too and says it appears to be correct. It has a large platform to stand on to make it easier for me who sometimes has balancing problems. The one thing I would prefer would be larger numbers so I could read it easier but I can see it now and hope that continues. This scale would be good for very large people as it goes up to 320 lbs. which seems to me to be extremely heavy. Maybe would be good in a sports locker room full of big men like a football team. There is no indication in kilograms only pounds, so beware if you are Canadian.

Readings All Over the Map
Nothing made this scale work accurately. Placement, calibration, nothing. It would give us different readings each time you stepped on it, in the same couple of minutes. The last straw was when I weighed myself before and after eating and I weighed 5 pounds less after the meal. During the night, it seems we are gaining weight, according to this scale. I believe this unit had already been returned as the box appeared to have been previously broken open and there were tape glue marks across the scale as if it originally had something attached to it but was returned without it. We returned this item.

Too Big and Too Small
I am extremely disappointed in the clarity of the smaller lines, as a result, it is very difficult to read your exact weight measurement. When you are standing on the scale the lines are not up close, so difficult to read. I had the same issue with a $10 scale that I owned for years. I bought this one thinking it would be great, everything was larger and easy to read. I was wrong the smaller lines are lighter in tone. I am going to return this product.

This is a big scale, but I wanted it for the big numbers (I'm tall and old) and I really hate batteries. If you see other reviews about the weight changing, my guess is that they are not putting it on a level surface and aren't calibrating it correctly when they receive it -- a LEVEL SURFACE is key!

Nice Scale - Could Suggest a Few Improvements
Overall, I like this scale. Mind came with some sticky substance along the edges, but I was able to remove it with a popular goop remover. Also, the needle is silver, so a bit hard to see. Although it does add to the sleek appearance, a black, red or even navy needle is suggested. Otherwise, it seems accurate and consistent and mine returns to zero as it should.
