"Watch" out for the price if you don't need payment option...

I'm a big fan of the Timex Ironman watches so happy to give this to my wife. What I like: ++The trustworthy Timex brand. Nothing fancy but well made, durable, works well. This watch continues the tradition. What Is Good To Know: --This Timex with payment option is currently priced at $80, similar model without Payment feature half the price (~$40). Currently payment feature only works for Chase Bank...I am not currently using Payment feature. Overall, you can't go wrong getting a Timex Ironman watch. If you think you really won't use the payment feature, save yourself half price for the 34mm non-payment Ironman (and tuck the forty savings in your shoe). 4-STAR rating by me in consideration of price/value (5-STARs for non-payment primepoint).

Very High Quality Watch

This TIMEX Contactless Payment Ironman Women's Watch is a very nice and high quality Timex watch. I got this watch for my wife to use. Sometimes she is not very good at using a debit card so I setup the Timex contactless payment in the band of this watch. The Timex contactless payment was very easy to get all setup on the watch. She is now able to use the timex contactless payment while wearing this watch. The watch is very lightweight and very comfortable to wear. The Timex contactless payment system is very simple and easy to use. I would highly recommend this watch.

Innovative and just down right cool!

Big fan of Timex throughout the years, especially the rugged and durable Ironman watches. As a runner and guy who lives an active lifestyle I have always appreciated that for a pretty affordable price you get a well made product with lots of features that are easy to use. When I saw that they had launched a collection of non-smartwatches with contactless payment, I needed to see for myself. I bought the Ironman 30 Lap with Timex Pay. Out of the box this is the same classic Ironman style you might expect but with an upgraded silicone band that has contactless payment tech built into the strap. The setup process is handled fairly easily by following the quick start guide which prompts you to download and install the Timex Pay app from the app store (I use iOS but I'm sure Android is the same process). The app has it's own built in guide to help you use the included clip to basically "beam" your credit card into the strap (for anyone who remembers Star Trek). I was up and running in less than 5 minutes and made my first purchase for a coffee by just tapping my watch onto the terminal at my local coffee shop. Great convenience for when I might not have my wallet or phone handy.

Excellent

My wife has fallen in love with this watch. I have the larger man's Ironman that I've found really useful for working out, but if anything this one looks cooler because everything is a little scaled down for a woman's wrist. It's just as easy to control as the men's version - the buttons all protrude far enough that they can be easily pressed no matter how small they are - but I think this one looks twice as good. All the basic functions are here: stopwatch, countdown timer, etc. Apart from the contactless payment feature (which is useless where we're currently living) it's just a standard digital watch designed for fitness, but the price is reasonable and it looks awesome. Highly recommended.

Honest review here. This is a great womens Ironman watch... as pictured and as described. ONLY WORKS WITH CHASE VISA DEBIT/CREDIT CARD AND AMAZON VISA! PROS Timex Ironman watch for women and is definitely a smaller size Intergrated strap as Timex Pay allowing you to use apple pay if you want...contactless payments (requires no connection or battery to work) It does require a Chase visa credit or debit card or Amazona Prime Visa (which I didn't realize when I got it) Adjustable black 14mm resin strap fits up to 7.5-inch wrist circumference 100-hour chronograph with 10-lap memory 24-hour countdown timer Customizable alarm 24-hour military time mode 2 time zones; day, date & month calendar Gray & black 34mm resin case with acrylic lens Black digital display Indiglo light-up watch dial Water resistant to 100m (330ft): in general, suitable for swimming and snorkeling CONS Face is kinda small, would have preferred a bit bigger Was disappointed when I saw it only works with Chase debit/credit visa and Amazon card.... Overall I recommend if you have that credit card.... feel like that should be listed as the first detail on the details page...

Great watch for my son

I actually got this watch for my 11 year old son because I knew women's watch would be smaller and it fits him perfectly. My 10 year old daughter wouldn't touch this watch she didn't think it looked like a women's watch, so I knew my son would like it. :) We don't use the pay feature, but he uses the timer and that's it's waterproof. He also like digital display. Great watch!

Nice

The TIMEX watch is very nice. It is nice that it has the pay feature on it. It looks very nice on the wrist. It is flattering. It fits well on. It is very comfortable to wear. It goes on and off easily. It worked without a problem. It kept good time. The quality is very good. This would make a very good gift for someone. The price is reasonable. I would recommend it.
