I absolutely love these boots. Never seen a pair like them, never will. The entire Tin Haul collection are all special, but the (subtle) flamingos, black leather and totally cool art soles totally won me over. The boots are incredibly well made. Everything about them is good quality - design, implementation, and material. Tops, bottoms, interiors, soles, stitching, colors, the works! I expect them to last, and to age well. I am not a regular cowboy boot wearer, but I really couldn't resist this purchase and entirely plan to get some stuff in my closet specifically to wear with them. I would consider myself a sizing expert at this point. I am a regular size 8 shoe. I bought an 8.5, an 8, a 7.5 and a 7 to try. I called Tin Haul about sizing and was recommended to try a 7 or 7.5. Initially I thought the 7.5 was the right fit - the boots can be hard to get foot through the ankle turn into the footbed. However, not knowing any differently, I only tried one boot on in front of a mirror. Turns out it is vital to try on both boots and walk around with cowboy boots to give them a test. The 7.5 was actually too big and there was a lot of lift in the heel when walking. I exchanged them for another pair of 7's ( I had already returned the first pair of 7s I bought, and never tried to put on). Perfect fit once I could get my left foot in. Right foot, no issues. They are gorgeous. And comfortable, even on first wear. Multiple people have commented on them, already. I could not have had a better experience buying from Tin Haul - they were so helpful with sizing information, shipping, returns and general communication. I feel like if you stumble upon this company as I did (pure chance) and fall in love with a pair of their boots, you will have some footwear unlike any other that you will really value. I hope this review is useful, cos I love these boots!
