Smooth lines decent color good price
I’ve used a ton of markers and love brush tips. I mostly draw on people and was impressed with how smooth these were. The red and pink were very similar. The green and light green were very similar. They dark and light blue were very similar too. At least the yellow showed up on skin. They dried very quickly on skin and didn’t smudge which made them great for body art. Came off pretty easily with soap. No allergic reaction on very sensitive skin. None of them were dry out of the package like so many other markers. Both ends worked well although the pointed tip was almost as thick as the brush end. I’d definitely buy these again.

Pretty colors and nice strokes, best for seasoned calligraphy artists.
In my first photo, Kuretake is on the left and Tombows on the right. I couldn’t decide between buying these or the Kuretake Brush pens so I decided to buy both and do a comparison. Tombow: I love the vibrant colors and it’s ability to make thick strokes but if you’re a beginner, the softness will make it difficult to make transition from thin to thick lines so you’ll need a lot of practice. The durability is questionable because the brushes start to split after a short period of time. I had a lot of issues with these when I first bought them so I had to exchange them for a new pack. The replacement was significantly better but still had the problem of splitting. The quality of the pens is also luck of the draw. The issues I had with the first pack and second packages seem to be some of the same ones other buyers have had. The colors don’t completely match what they’re supposed to be. In my first pack, the purple looked blue and my red was a brownish color. The new pack, the purple looks purple but now the red looks pink. I also don’t like how the light green looks yellow with a slight green hue in it. In my first set, i had difficulties with consistency among brushes. Some were very soft while others were firm. This new pack luckily are all consistent. If you’re advanced with calligraphy, I don’t think you’ll have issues making thick and thin lines but if you’re a beginner, it’ll definitely take practice making transitions from thin to thick. Still, I think these are a good buy because of the color vibrancy and ability to make really thick strokes. My boyfriend has been doing calligraphy much longer than I have and although the brush is splitting, he has the ability to not let it show when he’s writing, so with more practice as, I think these will end up working fine for me so long as the brushes don’t continue to split. Kuretake: firm enough to make thin lines and soft enough to make thick strokes. Transitions between thin and thick are simple making them great for beginners. My boyfriend also enjoyed using them. Colors are all vibrant and as expected except orange, it looks a bit more gold. Though I haven’t had them very long, durability is on point and I’ve had no issues with splitting. I definitely recommend Kuretake Fude for beginners or advanced and personally prefer the Kuretake over the Tombow.

Top notch, excellent, fantastic, amazing, etc…
These brush pens are perfect! The colors are so vibrant, the tips are just right, not too flexible, but not too stiff. There are almost no more words to describe how great these work for me! Although I would only recommend these for larger products, because the tips are so large you really can only get bigger letters to look good! But In the end, THESE ARE THE BEST BRUSH PENS OUT THERE! (And trust me when I say I have tried SO MANY other brush pens!) I very, very highly recommend these brush pens for PROFESSIONALS and BEGINNERS!

Useful in Many Ways
With many different types of brush pens available, it can be difficult to figure out which ones to buy when thinking of their quality and value. The ‘Tombow Dual Brush Pens’ can be used in a variety of ways and are durable making them are worth buying. Due to the recent popularity of calligraphy, many customers buy these pens. The flexible tip on the brush side of the pens is good for practicing both basic calligraphy and for watercolor-like coloring. These pens are also easy to be mixed and make new colors. The other side of these pens is much thinner and can be used for regular writing. You can also use the thinner side with your calligraphy by bordering letters and make your calligraphy more unique proving that these pens have a variety of uses. In addition to the versatility of the pens, the Tombow Pens are very durable. I have had these pens for seven months and use them quite often. Many other pens and markers that I have used dry out in this amount of time, and don’t have as much vibrancy as when I first started using them. However, these markers still retain a lot of their color even after their frequent usage. My experience isn’t uncommon as many of my friends have owned these markers for a year and still use them weekly due to their durability. Even with many positive attributes, one point often complained about is people finding it difficult to quickly learn calligraphy with these pens. The truth is that it takes a lot of time to master the art. It is necessary to practice all the letters and get used to writing in this new way before blaming everything on the pens. It is recommended for beginners to use tutorials to learn more about the pens, and not expect to be perfect on your first try. I recommend these pens for people who are looking for thin and precise markers as well as thicker brush pens. This pack of ten pens produces beautiful and effective results due to them having many different uses and them lasting a very long time.

Amazon may or may not have made me write this reveiw.
Amazon said they'd tell me a joke if I wrote this. I can't use the pens as they're a gift, but they look pretty nice. Edit: I don't think it was worth it, the joke wasn't really that funny. I feel scammed. now for the joke: Why are zebras bad at baseball? Three stripes and they're out!

Would definitely buy again
Looks great, great for calligraphy and feels comfortable in hand! Nice flexible tip, and the colours are really nice and pigmented. The blending is great as well. So happy with these and would definitely buy more!

Great fun to use , bold colours and great price
Been using this constantly since buying them and there so fun to use. The fine tip on one end is great for detailing and highlights. The brush tip on the other end is nice and soft for block colours. I draw characters and animation art and the colours are bold and bright exactly what I wanted

Fast delivery to UK & superb quality
Brilliant pens! I love them. Super bright colours, don't bleed on even cheap paper & are smooth to write with once you get the hang of using such high-quality markers. They are definitely to blame for the start of my pen hoarding! The product also arrived very quickly to the UK which was a lovely surprise.

Really bright and colourful
Love these brush pens! They're so bright and really flexible. A bit hard to do the thin up strokes but that comes with practice. I would probably recommend this to someone who had practised hand lettering before. It might be a hard pen to use for a beginner/newbie for brush lettering. Also make sure you use PREMIUM paper of your blending using the blending pen, otherwise the paper will make those bubbles and fray.
