This is my second one.

I bought this to replace an identical ballast that wouldn't reset after a lamp change. Directions say to hold the button for 10 seconds to reset lamp life calculator. That didn't work. I tried it every which way to Tuesday. Eventually, the alarm would go off constantly so I had to option other than to replace the ballast which is unfortunate as the original ballast worked just fine. This ballast is the identical to the one it replaced. Same brand, model number, part number and stickers. I expect I'll have to replace it in a year when I replace the bulb but the alarm won't reset. It could be much better designed. So if you're looking for one of these ballasts, I'd recommend finding an alternative. Otherwise, you'll have to throw away a perfectly good ballast when you can't reset the alarm.

No Power Cord!

My old ballast had a power cable that was not removable. This unit fit exactly in the space provided, but there was no power cord included. I found an old computer monitor cable that did the job. Product should state that the power cable is not included.

Product works fine. For some reason it does not come with a ground wire, nor a power cord. Why no power cord? I had to buy one separately...
