Works well, difficult to replace however
You definitely need the right type of wrenches to get this thing on and get the old one off. I had to dig pretty deep in my toolbox. It was challenging but I got it done. I love my old blender. It’s decades older than I am. Glad I could keep it going with this replacement part. The photo shows the entire blender, the do I need assembly, the top drive gear on the blender base, and the bottom drive gear on the blender jar.

Assembly is just what I needed to update my 702 A Waring. Note - DO NOT Buy the O-ring Gasket Amazon recommends for this!
One Issue with this order (read to the end of the review) The product arrived on time and was packaged well to protect the unit. There were no installation instructions included but it was pretty straightforward and I found a YouTube video that was helpful. One tip - the nut on the bottom is reverse threaded (lefty-tighty), this is the nut under the glass which contacts the base motor unit. The unit is very well constructed and was a significant update to my old, well-used blender. The unit comes with all the necessary rubber washers - you don't need to buy additional ones regardless what the Amazon site attempts to sell you. My issue is not with this product or the delivery, my issue is with the Amazon website that recommended that I buy the "Blender O-Ring Gasket", which I ordered believing it was needed for replacing the blade assembly - it is not. Although the O-Ring is advertised as "fits Waring Blenders made in the USA" it does match this blade assembly unit or my 702A Waring blender. Do not buy the O-Ring, it is not needed. This assembly unit comes with all the necessary seals, washers, gaskets...etc. I'm out the $5 as the O-Ring isn't eligible for return :(

Worked Well For My Model 702A
This worked well for my Waring Blendor Model 702A, probably built in 1960. It was easy to install. The only challenge was removing the old assembly. I loosened the old assembly from the bottom using a 15/16" socket. I let the the upper portion of the soak to let it loosen up. I gently scraped out the old bottom gasket located above the loosened nut.

great part - hard to replace
Got exactly what I was looking for, nice blades and washers every thing you need to replace the blender assembly in bottom of craft / jar. Mine was from my grandmother and is well over 50 years old. The older style did not have a nut on the inside so trying to unscrew the old assembly results in the whole assembly just spinning and not coming apart. Trick was to turn the jar upside down and place over a small wooden post then jam a screwdriver in the slot around the part that needs to be held to unscrew the nut. It ended up chewing into the old assembly and breaking little pieces but who cares it is being replaced.

Wish they had sent the diag. on how the washers should be installed as the old ones I could not see which ones went on the glass etc. had to get the diag. from Waring on line.
