Very Cozy Look

I took a chance on this light when I bought it, despite a feeling that it looked a bit plain in the picture online. However, when I received the fixture and installed it, the look was perfect. I was looking for a fixture to go outside of 120 apartment suite entrances. I wanted something that wasn't too expensive, but had a fabric shade to create a more "home-like" feel. This fixture was exactly what I was looking for. I originally liked a fixture with a glass shade more, but I installed 2x of each in my house as a test & this one was hands-down much nicer... so much so that they are staying on my wall. The fixture takes a candelabra bulb. I tested this with a few different bulbs: - The fixture looked best with a bulb that gives off omni-directional light (Light all around the bulb. This applies mainly to LED bulbs which are offered in both omni & non omni-directional.) The 360 degrees of light fills the shade much more uniformly, w/o dark spots. - I recommend a bulb of 500 lumens or more. The white shade illuminates nicely, but the light that passes through does not illuminate the surroundings like a typical lamp shade.

These are beautiful above our bathroom vanity on either side of our mirror. We also have overhead lighting, so I can't comment on if they would be enough light on their own to put on makeup. The finish is nice and what was expected from the images. I rated it a 4 due to the lamp shade. When the light is turned on you can see the seam at the top and bottom shine through, it looks glued and uneven. It's not as noticeable when the light is turned off, but when it's on it the shade looks cheap.

You need an electrician!

It cost at least eight times the cost of the lamp for the electrician. Not worth it.

Would've been 5 stars had the 3 retainer tabs that hold the glass on been a bit more hidden. Overall, accurate description. No trouble installing. Note to those that have.. less experience- trim a bit (quarter size) of the insulation material out so you can see your mounting points.. Trim, back the retainer bolts out as far as they go, position, shove up, twist, let hang, fasten w/nuts. Took me 6 min, and I'm not an electrician.

Just ok. I was really disappointed in the overall quality of this fixture. Its feel flimsy and looks rather cheap after install. The design of the light I like but the quality compared to others I purchased in this price range is disappointing. I left it up as it replaced another with cracked glass... but it's not in anyway what I was excepting. The 2 lights are not defused evenly but not a huge deal. Easy install but needs a lot of adjustments to get everything lined up correctly. Overall its Just ok. Would not buy this same exact fixture again. Would go with something more substantial that evenly defuses the light if doing it again.

I was surprised by how lightweight this light is which made it very easy for my husband to hang. The shade is white (not ivory) and I like the fact that the bottom of the light is glass, not plastic, like most of the lights in this style. It is smaller than I expected but once it was hung, it looks perfect in our guest bedroom. It gives the room a more modern feel. I would recommend this purchase.

Great Light at Great Price.

I am thrifty. I was overjoyed to find these lights at this price. Similar to so many that are double, triple+ the price. Simple, stylish and easy to clean. Love the light that it projects...no weird shadows. Only issue was install, which was tedious... may have been our existing ceiling holes, but these lights almost got stomped on, thrown out the window, cursed at, etc., during the process. So glad we saw it through...they are great!
