Looks and works great.
I replaced a faulty handle on our screen door with this one. Had no problem installing it and it looks and works great.

It fits just right
It was just what I needed.

Works well!
Requires a 1 inch hole offset from the latch mounting surface by 7/16”. Be sure the frame of your screen door is wide enough to accommodate this.

smooth transaction, great product
The item seems to be well made and was easy to install. It works great. Just need to remember to use the handle instead of just pushing the door open! :)

Instructions on the package are WRONG!
The instructions on this page say to drill a 1" hole 13/16" on center from the edge of the door, but the package says 11/16". Well, not having read the directions on this page, I went with the package and IT DOESN'T WORK! Now to figure out how to correct this. Otherwise, it is a nice handle/latch set.

Package was opened, not complete product
The striker plate fell out along the way since package was partially opened. The oval piece is also missing so unable to use at all.

Hard to find item...great quality
our back screen door hasnt worked this great in 30 years!! My only beef is that sometimes you get your shirt, jacket or pants caught on the handle when you walk outside. Other than that...excellent!

Replaced a 100 year old steel and brass latch
Used it to replace a similar looking brass and steel latch in a 100 year old wooden storm door. The steel pins and springs in the old one had disintigrated. Maybe with the services of an old time clockmaker, it might have been repareable. For $15 this latch fit the existing hole in the door and even used the original screw holes. I'm in for 5 stars.
