A few days ago I had given a 1 star review as I had not received the size I had ordered, right now I cant find that review , but, I can admit I was not a happy customer :( I contacted the company and spoke with Greg, and within 2 days I received the size I ordered. Now I cant wait to put it up, it seems to be of very high quality and made well compared to others I have had in the past. I also asked the best way to install this, and as I thought I was right, using a bungie type cord will give the tarp more give instead of using taut rope in case of a higher wind. So this is what I will be using (bungie). Will keep you informed of how I like my tarp. By the way, it is very dense , so I have no reason to believe this tarp will work with 90% shade, I have had a 50% and 70% and I can tell you that by holding this up to the sun it will take care of almost every bit of sun rays coming in. Thank you again H&H for making good on my order!!

I purchased two 8' x 14' tarps and one 6' x 14' tarps to cover an 18' x 14' deck. I received three different lengths of tarp so my carefully figured support system got pretty messed up. The grain line for the two 8' x 14' tarps were different--one ran lengthwise and the other width-wise, which causes uneven sagging. I know that wouldn't make a difference in covering up a truck, but for a deck cover, its pretty obvious. Well, unless everyone is distracted already by the staggered ends. Somehow I missed the earlier negative reviews--at this point I hope we can make it through the summer. With temperatures well over 100* regularly, I now assume these won't last. I will say the deck is much cooler in the shade.

I was amazed at how cool the side of the van facing ...
I used this shade mesh tarp as an awning on my van at the beach this week. Clipped it to the drip rail and attached tent poles to the corner grommets. The outside temperature was in the low 90's. I was amazed at how cool the side of the van facing the sun was. The window glass was barely warm. When the sun was on the side of the van without the shade cloth, the glass was hot to the touch. Also, the wind was between 10-15 mph and, while it did move some, the shade cloth did not flap like a regular tarp or awning because the wind can go through it. I left it up the whole time I was there; no rips, tears at the grommets or seams. Appears to be well made. I have a regular RV awning but I like this shade cloth much better because I can un-clip it and move it around the van or attach it to anything else that I might want shaded. Very nice and versatile.

I ordered 12' x12' shade cloth. What I received was 11' 4" x 11' 2". Using longer bungees than planned so that there would not be excess strain on the cloth I hung the cloth anyway. Three days later I observed that some of the grommets appear to be ready to tear out. It looks like instead of crimping the metal grommets onto the cloth, excess force was used causing the grommets to actually cut the material. I will need to install more grommets correctly. I expected the cloth to last 3-5 years exposed to Eugene, Oregon weather. I doubt that it will last even one year. Returning is too much of a hassle after spending several hours and dollars buying extra length bungees and installing the cloth. Made in China means Made in China quality control.

NOT so Mighty Product
I got the 12'x8'. The material seems of high quality. Looks and feels durable. Just the right amount of shade that I needed for my sun deck. It rained this afternoon. And I noticed that water does go through.Very satisfied. 5 stars for me. Updated review: August 27, 2015 Exactly 2 months after installation, I can now tell that the material is NOT durable. The mesh has started to fall apart in several places, at least in 5 places! I thought initially, this product will last maybe 5 Summers. No. Not even the Summer that it was installed. I am very disappointed. NOT a mighty product, after all. Look elsewhere. 2/5 stars Updated review: September 15, 2016 Today I decided to take down this MP product which split completely in the middle as you can see in the picture. And installed a new sun shade that I found on-line. The fabric is called Coolaroo. I went for a completely different color this time - Wheat (see picture). I like it. And can only hope that it last. Great shade product
Have had this product for 3 years and been thru rough rain and windy weather and sun exposure and it has been Great and durable, lots of shade, definitely recommend this product, we used zip ties to ties lt down and works great, just would recommend you put it way during heavy rain weather, it accumulates lots of rain and drains slowly putting lots of pressure on poles. But great product if used properly

Not True to Size
I can't say how this is going to hold up yet as I just got it and put it up yesterday. The quality seems fine. However, the sizing is not true to the description. I bought a 6x8 and it's well short on the longer length by a good 6 inches. I needed the 8 foot width and am disappointed that it's not. Hopefully the quality makes up for it. Revised: I put in a return request today and ordered the 6x10. Will see what that size is like but longer in my case is a bit better.

Great shade cloth replacement for my carport structure.
Bought this shade cloth to replace the tarp cover, that came with the double car tent carport, that my husband bought to protect our cars, from the scorching Southern California sunshine. The original tarp lasted about 3 months before it literally started to come apart. This shade cloth was so well stitched together with those reinforced binding, double stitched and the grommets are 12 inches apart. The material will allow air flow but give wonderful shade protection. We have horrible Santana wind conditions that can run havoc on most covers. So far this cover has performed beautifully. No tears, rips or noticeable damage of any kind. A very good practical, affordable and useful product to replace my original damaged tent cover.
