Very nice, but didn't work for me.

This balance board is very high quality, very well made. It's easy to use for both front-to-back and side-to-side balance exercises. On the basis of sturdiness and quality I'd give it 5-stars, but it didn't work for me. I find that I can get comparable balance work from a Bosu ball, and that a foam half-roller really provides the more taxing balance work I need. But if you're new to having to do balance exercises, this balance board might just be the perfect tool for you.

I got this balance board for myself and my son. My son had scoliosis so even though it has been corrected, it is important that his core muscles continue to help keep his spine straight. I got this to help make it fun. We both enjoy using it, as both a game and an accessory for some exercises (mainly plank/mountain climbers and standing and twisting for the obliques). It is solid wood construction with a centered cross on the bottom instead of the Roman Numeral I type on the others. My son is 6’3” and 240 or so pounds so this has not cracked. The felt however easily peeled off within days which was annoying but expected. Luckily felt is cheap so I can easily reapply. I wish it had a border around the maze part or higher walls to help keep the balls contained (we had a few runaway moments) but all in all a great product.

Nice board but a little narrow

When I bought my UpLift desk, I got one of their rockerboards with it. To be honest I thought the whole idea was gimmick but I did find myself using it a lot at home when standing at my desk. It makes standing for long periods of time easier since you are using different muscles in order to balance. I liked it so much that I wanted one of those boards for when I returned to the office (we have standing desks there too). The UpLift version is kind of expensive so I found this one on Amazon. While this one is good, I do prefer the length on my UpLift version. Since it's wider, it's easier to stand and balance on. The Yes4All version has just enough space for my feet to stand at about shoulder width apart. Which is ok, but harder to get on and off of. I guess it's a better workout in terms of using balancing muscles though. Pros: 1) Nice grip on the top so you don't have to worry about slipping (though I worry about the sandpaper like top wearing away at shoes) 2) Works core and other balance muscles while at the desk 3) Build seems solid, I'm not worried about it cracking on me Cons: 1) Width is a little narrow, makes it hard to get on and off of, also seems easier to fall off of it 2) No padded surface so your feet may start to hurt sooner depending on your shoes 3) It's a little tall, this combined with the narrow width, makes it a little easy to fall off. I probably wouldn't recommend this to someone who is older.

It’s like PT at home

Great size. And like the board extends further beyond the rocker Trojan the physical therapist. Better calf stretches and can use for multiple exercises at home to build back strength and balance. Non slip surface is good for shoes. For socks they stick and you actually slide out of your socks. phy therapist has this item at rehab using socked feet so that’s my only complaint I’m not getting the full bare foot use. However I use barefoot and find since personal. Doesn’t mark the floor. Would buy again as gift

Seems to help with ADHD

I've been using this after reading the book ADHD 2.0. It seems to help me with focus. I'll use it when I'm ruminating and can't get my mind off a certain topic. Doing this helps me focus on just my core, maintaining balance and staying in the moment. I'm a big dude, I'm 6'3" and 315 lbs. and this thing can handle my weight with no issue.

Good product for the price.

If you don't want to spend 150 to 200$ for something that does the same thing, then this balancing board is for you. My only negative comment is thatif you over 225 lbs, I'm not sure this board will last. Since I am 160 lbs I ammnot too concerned. Over all, I've done a few quick excercises and it oerfect for what I need ... push ups, balancing squats, and miscellanoeus excercise that i usually do standing (curls, flies, etc) but with much lighter wieghts. All in all, highly recommended for home body work outs. Finally, if you have never used balancing boards before then this is a good place to start ... and finish ...
