Decent office pant, but a little large

I am 5' 7" 135 lbs, athletic build with a butt. I bought size 6. I am generally a true size 6, medium (sometimes in Ann Taylor a size 4). The pants are loose, to the point of riding low on my hips. This means the seam of crotch rides low in between my thighs. A bit overly roomy in the hips and belly. I'm wearing silky underpants today and they are having a hard time staying up. Not the most flattering look; not the worst either. Still, since they are stretchy and don't have a zipper or buttons (they pull on), I would prefer if they were shorter in the rise and a little more fitted. I tried putting them in the drier and it did nothing to shrink them. The length is just above the ankle when the pants sit low. I would suggest that if you like a fitted pant, buy a size down, and if you like your pants to swim a bit, go with your true size. They're a decent, basic ankle pant to reach for when you don't want to think about getting dressed, but nothing that's going to wow anyone. Easy to dress up with a nice top and shoes. Comfy to sit in; thin enough material for a hot summer day.

I have these pants and love them not originally ordered from amazon....ordered the exact same from amazon and received pants that had a zipper and were not ankle length....these are too long have a zipper and not pull on....reordered hopefully I get the correct ones!!!

I can still pull this off at 5'2 :)

I'm 5'2, 130 lbs. A size 8 was too big for me but a size 6 did the job. It fits well around the waste although it rides higher than I'd like above my waist. But this is just what happens when you're vertically challenge! Also as a result of me being too short, these did not land above the ankle but right below the ankle. With a nice pair of heels though or something with height, they don't look bad so I'm keeping them. The only other thing I'd ask for is pockets but if I could get a pair in deep blue, I would!

very comfortable, but runs large

I ordered my usual size in these and they definitely run large. I'm going to keep them because we all need pants for "those days' but I would order next size down if I bought again, which I probably will because they are very comfortable. I am 5'7", 180 lbs, normally wear a 12. These are a 12 and are very baggy at the knees and have plenty of stretch for the 10 to fit.
