It’s easy to install!

It’s heavy plastic, which I was surprised, so easy to install. It took me five minutes and was fearful about taking it down. Did not take any paint off my walls. Fantastic. Kept all the dust out of my room.

Works Great!

Put this up to block a doorway to a new bedroom construction. Blocks the dust well and easy to install. I have zipped and unzipped this thing hundreds of times and it is still as good as the first day I put it up. Great product.

Seems expensive, but is totally worth it

I put this up over a doorway when construction was being done in my kitchen. I used the provided tape, but also added a few staples for good measure. This barrier easily kept the dust in and the double zip allowed me to roll it up in the evening for easy passage.

Very sturdy

I used this to cordon off part of my house as a quarantine measure, not for construction, but I was none the less impressed. The plastic is strong, the zippers are sturdy. I used the double stick tape provided, around the edge of the door trim. It’s very strong and I fear I will have a mess when I remove it. But the trim could use painting anyway so I’m not too concerned. I would not trust the tape long term on the wall. It’s very strong. If I use this again for construction I would probably raise it up in the doorway so that the bottom just touches the floor a little bit, rather than a foot of plastic lying on the floor ( see picture) but for my purposes it didn’t matter. If you taped the side edges down to the floor for even better dust sealing , I think you could still go in and out using just one zipper. If you had to take things in and out you might zip up both zippers. If your doorway is wider than the plastic you would have to work something out with adding plastic to the sides. Mine is just over 4 feet and there is extra plastic. In all this works great.

Happy customer

I bought this to seal off my bathroom under construction and it works like magic. I instantly feel the temp change to cold from the remainder of the house when I enter and that tells me that the product works. The only complaint is surrounding the adhesive seal… I have to apply pressure around the door every couple of days to keep the stick. I ended up using duck tape too as extra support. This is a cost effective solution to sealing an area off.

Excellent product

Worked perfectly. Very easy to put up. Used it during a renovation. Kept the dust away also the cold as the contractors came in and out. As well, was great peace of mind for our pets. The zip wall kept them away from the renovations as well as breathing in dust.

Works very well - almost no dust got into the rest of the house.

This product works very well. It has been up on a door to a room where building works have been going on for over a month now. It has done very well at keep the dust out, including that from breaking down a wall and cutting a new hole for a window in another (anyone who has had this done will know how much dust this produces and how pervasive it is). The double sided tape is holding to the door surround. As an extra protection I've taped the edges to the wall also - which supports some of the weight of the door and acts as an extra barrier. When the worst of the work was going on I taped a bin bag to the floor over the bottom of the door as a flap valve. It must be imported from the US - buying replacement tape from Amazon.co.uk costs (55 pounds!! - more than the door), so was cheaper to order from Amazon.com (18 dollars) and pay postage. However, replacement tape still unused - will need it for the second room!

ZipWall works.

We used the ZipWall to seal off a second bedroom as we renovated two bathrooms. It did a GREAT job and we were able to sleep in the second bathroom with NO dust issues. It was very easy to install the zip wall - it took maybe 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend this product. Thank you.

Not convinced

Someone else said it - the tape it comes with is pretty useless. Also you have to make small holes in the door for the hanging hooks when the doorway is rolled up. Its like the designer has never used it. A great idea that could be improved upon but it does stop a large amount of dust. Ever chased cableways in plaster?

You can use tuck tape and a stapler to seal just as good as the two sided tape

The zip wall was easy to install and worked amazing. I did a full renovation in my kitchen and it’s definitely kept the dust out of the areas that I was living in.
