Great glasses, wrong color

Been using this style of glasses for years, and would have given them 5 stars, if not for sending the wrong color. Especially after reading other reviews, and seeing this is not something new.

Good for wearing with hearing protection. Never have received black/grey despite choosing it 3 times

Good for wearing with EPs as the flat sides don't press into the side of your head or compromise the seal the earmuffs make. I had a pair of these in black/grey that Ace Hardware USED to carry. The color matters to me because I am in the military and black/grey can be worn with the uniform and black/red cannot. I could wear either in the work area but would have to carry a separate pair of "in regs" sunglasses when coming and going and I carry enough crap already. My old pair broke, so I found and ordered these with grey, but received red. I went through the return/exchange process for wrong color, but surprise, surprise, got some more red ones. This is a big flaw with Amazon's order system, because the people picking the order from the warehouse don't have your return message. They just get the same bin location they got last time, so if the item is in the wrong bin for whatever reason (not noticing color options, maybe for example) you're going to keep getting the same one. So I returned those also. Later, I noticed only the front piece was broken at the hinge on my old grey pair, so I ordered one more pair (still chose grey and got red) and used the sides from the grey one with the front piece from the new one. Which I will say is worth it considering they are half the price here compared with other sellers.

I recommend...with a couple of caveats.

These are very comfortable glasses and do not fall off. Perfect for yard work and general eye protection. Two caveats...when cutting wood with my circular saw, I have occasionally had some flecks of sawdust make it past the glasses and into my eye. The other thing to note is that this item description currently states that it is for a "6 pack" of glasses....you actually only get one pair. I contacted Amazon AND the seller about this...the seller told me that only one pair of glasses came with the purchase despite what the ad says and did not seek to remedy the situation further. Amazon, as a result, refunded me the purchase price of the glasses and allowed me to keep them. Great customer service on the part of Amazon! To close, I definitely recommend these glasses....like I said, I use them weekly when doing yard work and other general handyman work. If you will use them exclusively for carpentry, I would consider investing in something that provides better protection from stray pieces of wood flying through the air.

Comfortable for Every Day

I have bought these for my husband that wears them all the time since he has really bad allergies. He uses these on a day to day especially when he is outdoors for protection. Light weight and protects his eyes and look good.

No temple headaches from ear protection.

I always have on my work tunes for ear protection so the flat temple fit makes for a comfortable day of mowing, gotta have the yellow lens for early and late day, the tinted for daytime. Great safety glass

Nice safety glasses at a good price

Nice safety glasses at a good price. I bought a bunch of them. Thing is I finally listened to all of the advice that’s been out there saying you should wipe them with a microfiber cloth. I’ve ruined dozens of safety glasses by wiping them with rags or paper towels. I finally broke down and bought a value pack of microfiber cloths . When I wipe them with a microfiber cloth it’s almost as if they’re completely brand new, it’s amazing! ❤️

comfortable even under earmuffs

For the money, these can't be beat. Comfortable glasses with thin frames. The earpieces actually do lie flat to your face and are really comfortable under earmuffs, which is what I had been looking for. I purchased both the 'gray' sunglasses type and the clear type, for doing chainsaw/weedeater work and shooting respectively, places where I use hearing protection and need both hearing and eye pro. Good buy.
