Best overall tape on the market

By far my favorite tape. This is the tape I keep on hand at all times. There are certainly times when I need to use something more specific for a particular location or type of wound but in general this is what I reach for. It's a little stiff, if you aren't used to it but the benefits far out weigh that minor con. It is flexible, easy to tear into the tiniest strips, it adheres well, and it withstands water pretty well. The flexibility is great because it allows use in areas that are often problematic, like fingers and wrists, toes, elbows and such. Oh, did you pick up on the mention of tearing it? Yes, it tears perfectly as long as you go ahead and give it a committed rip. If you go at it tentatively, it will fray a bit on the edges. It is designed to tear with small perforations spaced for vertical or horizontal tearing so you don't need scissors making it the perfect tape to keep in your car or desk or first aid kit. Overall I like the3M tapes. Their Medipore H is a second favorite but if I were stranded on an island with just one tape to take care of any health issues that might arise, I would definitely opt for Transpore 1 or 2 inch is the most easily managed. Buying a dozen at a time is a good idea because you will be surprised at how many times you will reach for this tape.
