As Good As Duracell

I've been very disappointed in Duracells for the past year. Too many of them leak. I tried the off brand alkaline batteries and they haven't leaked, last just as long and are definitely cheaper. Whether these, or the Amazon basic batteries, they are a better buy than Duracell.

Good battery

So far this is my "go-to" battery for AA and AAA - Can't say anything about the shelf life, but the battery is a good alkaline that works for my needs - flashlights and camera strobes. Seems as good as any generic AA - I'm sure just as good as Duracell and Energizer - just without the expensive advertising to drive the hype and price up.
