Just right
I needed a gift for an older family member who wanted an high quality, easy-to-understand weather station without too many extra features that she wouldn't understand or use. This fit the bill perfectly.

Good for a while, but then breaks down.
Bought in June of 2020. Live in Wisconsin, so temps can go from -10 degrees F to 100 degrees. Worked well at first. Temperatures were accurate against other temperature reading devices I have. 2 years in; the outdoor sensor started regularly disconnecting (batteries were new, sensor was about 30 feet away from the display unit, and only 1 wall was in-between it and the display unit), and temps were off (again compared against other devices which had the same readings when put in the same spot). Indoor temps were also off. Reset the device multiple times. Contacted tech support: I was told I needed to replace the outdoor sensor, which is $20 (initial cost was $50). Think it's time to find a different weather station that's more reliable.

To small
This Device is to small for me, if I was 40 years younger, with better eye sight than maybe it would be all right, tried to get one that was at least 12 inches high X 12 inches wide, but I guess they don't make them. Had to move mine from 10 feet away to 2 feet away, in order to get full viewing of the Device.

Good Weather Station With A Major Issue
Accurite does make some great weather stations, and as the name implies, they are accurate, but with this model, the display is sorely lacking the ability to view from multiple angles. Setting it up on a lower surface was helpful, but you can only view it clearly from a standing position, if you are close enough to it. Further distances makes the display fade. A shame really, as the features it has are very handy to have.

Great graphics.
This is a easy to set up and use weather station. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Once the sensor was mounted the RF connection to the base unit was automatically made and the base reported the readings. That's as easy as it gets. By the way the graphics are excellent, clear and easy to read any time day or night. I also purchased the solar shield. I'm hoping this will increase the life of the sensor and negate some of the wind chill. I've only had it for about two months now but it seems to be operating just fine. I did not give it the fifth star because I don't know how long it will last before completely dying. Hopefully in time it will earn the fifth star.

OK for outside temperature/humidity
It's ok for the outside temperature and humidity and the moon phases, but it does not represent the inside humidity, there's always a 25-30 degrees difference with my others. Also if you are not facing the station you cannot see the numbers, which is quite annoying. This is my second Acurite and it's been the problem with the inside humidity with the first one also. I'm not sure if I would buy an Acurite again.

Great for all my needs was exactly what I was looking for and it works great and have no problem reading . I didn't notice it had a power pack with it but that is a plus :)

One of the best weather stations out there.
Have tried several products in the past. All have failed in a year or two. I wanted an easy to read temperature and humidity reading for inside my home and outside. Did not want to have to hit a button to read it. Be aware, it acts as a night light in the room it is in (always on) , which we prefer. Caution: the second device I bought for my other residence had to be returned because it was defective (out of the box). Seller and Amazon made it right.

si vous l'installer sur un meuble c'est plus facile que sur un mur
(Pour moi) Mon installation c'est fait sur un mur et c'est plus difficile à installé parce que si vous voulez bien voir l'affichage il faut qu'il soit en angle c.a.d. légèrement penché ttoujours en rapport avec la vision de bien voir l'affichage. Mais sur un meuble plus bas aucun problème.
