Looser fit than expected

The color is great. The material is fantastically soft and warm. Feels good against your legs! However, the size is a bit too loose for my taste. I do NOT wear sweats out in public, but I could not with these even if I wanted to, because, while I normally wear an XL, and these are an XL, the ONLY way they stay up is if I tie the tie string very tightly. The elastic is larger than my waist size, and does not have much elasticity. (I normally wear a size 40 waist in regular jeans or pants). Having said all that, after I got them, and tried them out, I noticed that the website said "Large will fit you best based on data from customers who buy the same sizes as you." Unfortunately, that blurb was not there before I ordered, or if it was, I didn't see it. Even if I had seen it, I probably would have ordered the XL because I ALWAYS order XL in sweat pants. So, even if you ALWAYS order XL, you might want to consider getting the Large instead. The pants themselves get a full 5-stars for being good quality, thick and warm and extremely soft, but the product loses a star for having difficulty with sizing. I'll still be able to wear them with the string tied tightly, but I prefer to use the elastic the way it was designed to be used. So, bottom line, I'll give them 4-stars!

Amazon Aware Mens Regular Fit Recycled Microfleece Sweatpants

Soft and warm these recycled microfleece sweatpants have a relaxed fit and are 100 percent polyester. Somewhat heavy they may be best used during cooler months. I selected XL for the male in-residence because although he usually wears a large there always seems to be some shrinkage after laundering but if there was any with this garment it was negligible. The inseam is 29 to 30 inches so typical sweatpants but unless seeking a baggy look selecting the wearer’s usual size may be the best choice. The fabric definitely has a fleece texture and if living with a pet that sheds the cloth will pick up the hair like a swifter duster. Well-detailed the pants have four pockets—two deep angled in-seam side pockets and two back patch pockets. The waistband has both an elastic inserted in a casing along with a drawstring helps customize the fit. The exterior of the waistband is quite stiff presumably to provide some structure so the soft fabric doesn’t fold over or totally collapse while sitting, bending, etc. The interior of the waistband has the same soft plush fabric as the rest of the pants. The elastic in the ankle area is in a casing that is entirely the soft microfleece fabric. Fabric care instructions are to machine wash inside out in warm water with like colors, use only non-chlorine bleach when needed, tumble dry on low heat (do not iron the fleece), use cool iron if needed. Do not dry clean. Cozy and appreciate they are created with recycled material--very nice pair of sweatpants.

Super comfortable. Runs a little on the larger side.

Seems like a nice pair of sweat pants so far. Great for lounging around the house on the weekends and for sleeping. Runs a little on the large side. For reference, I wear a 30" inseam and a 34-36" waist for my normal pants and other size large sweat pants usually fit just about right. This pair was just a little too long and loose around the waist. They still look OK but they're just a little baggier than my usual sweat pants. Looking back, I might have gone with a medium when I ordered them. Also the $30+ price seems a little high for what they are. Overall, they're pretty good.

comfortable and fashionable

Probably my new favorite joggers or sweat pants or whatever YOU call them, they are stupid comfortable. I wear these with the matching bomber jacket and the over sized long sleeve shirt, just to complete the look. They have a regular fit, not so much like your joggers, but the old school hip hop fit you grew up with, yeah I looking at you in my B-Boy stance. I kid. But, that's really the vibe I get from this line of clothing. A little baggy, a little more comfort. Nothing you need to buy in 5XL, you can order to your size. The pants have 4 pockets. Two in the front are big enough to hold you wallet or keys and cell phone. Then there are the 2 back pockets, that are a little too small for me to carry anything in them. But, their there. The waistband has a drawstring to get your best fit. The bottom cuffs have an elastic to keep them closed at the ankle or slid to your calf without falling out of place, the choice is yours. Enjoy

Very warm

Wow these are really warm. Good for outdoors in cold weather. Mostly too hot in the house. Size is quite generous.

Nice and comfy

Amazon Aware Men's Regular-Fit Recycled Polyester Microfleece Closed-Bottom Pants I purchased one size larger to get a more baggy fit, XL. I normally wear a large. Due to the way their waste bad and string are designed, it easily tightened up to a large waist. It was a gamble that paid off. Super comfy and soft. The cloth has a premium and durable feel to it. I expect to have these for a long time.

Tough waist band

These are good for bumming around the house. They have a drawstring and elastic around the ankles, which is nice for cold weather. The only downfall is the outer waistband is really rough. A combination of the recycled material and 4 lanes of stitching. Size wise I have no problems with the extra large so I wouldn't order these any different than you normally do. All in all I don't really think these are good for going outside with, but comfy for at home.

Really long, really furry, and overly warm

I get the whole idea of a carbon-neutral product line. I really do. For some reason, I thought these sweatpants would have a smooth texture on the outside, and be suitable for warm weather wear. No, and no. It's so fuzzy, I feel like a Muppet! And it's A good thing these have elastic at the ankles, because these are ridiculously long, too. Maybe they'll be good for next winter.
