Adequate for what I needed.

I searched everywhere for a red shirt and had no luck. I found this shirt, and the same shirt in the boys 8-20 size for my older son. They came in today and I had the boys try them on immediately. Here is what I thought: Pros: The shirt was a nice color (we ordered burgundy) The fabric was decent in appearance. The tie and pocket square, though not as pictured, matched well. Better than the picture. Cons: For my boys, the fit was funny. With hands down, the sleeves were fine. Arms raised, VERY short. The tie is a poorly made clip-on. I am afraid to wash this first, I think it will shrink, and they have just enough room. The ties are SHORT (for size 7 and 14 in the bigger size) I only needed the shirt though I would have used the ties if they looked at all decent. This is for them to wear on Christmas and while I should have been able to use these later, for the price and the fact that I could not find a single similar shirt, I decided to keep these anyway. If you need this for a one-time special occasion, you could get by. If you are looking for a shirt to wear more often, look elsewhere. Size-wise, if your child is between sizes, order up. I don't know what size the tie will fit, but expect it to be short.

Fuchsia is super bright, but awesome!

First off, the FUCHSIA is so much more bright and intense than the picture shows. But I love it. It is definitely more of a coral-ish hot pink, but how stunning my son will be in it. I would have given it 5 stars, but the pocket square is a joke. We've tried folding and stuffing it different ways, but forget it. The clip on tie is fine, however, and he'll probably wear that at some point with his shirt, although I got this shirt for Easter Sunday and he'll wear a bow tie with it. This dress shirt is pretty standard and made as one would expect. The weight is normal and the collar has appropriate stiffness. Sure, it had a ton of little threads hanging out of it from being a newly sewn garment, but we've paid five times this for my husband's super nice dress shirts and I've still had to trim a thread or two. I love all the color options that are available. Keep 'em coming American Exchange. I will be buying more, for sure.

nice dress shirt

I found it to be a little roomy but it will be find under a sweater and will be absolutely perfect for another season. I have two grandsons who like to be dressed up so they can be expensive to maintain but these shirts are surprisingly nice for the money. I personally hate clip on ties but they are so much safer for little guys on the playground and getting on and off the bus. I think the shirt is well made and the quality of the fabric really surprised me. So many manufacturers are cutting cost by using thinner, lighter fabrics which can be kind of cheesy looking. These are a very nice weight so they look like a higher priced shirt. I buy a lot of Ralph Lauren and Brooks Brothers for the boys, so this is high praise indeed! And there is a whole rainbow of colors available so there are lots of choices for different outfits. I highly recommend this shirt! My only complaint is that there are only solids and no plaids or stripes, otherwise I have nothing negative to say about these shirts...and I've purchased many!

The difficulty in finding a red button up...

Who knew finding a decent priced, dress button up in red would be so difficult! Of course I would find one on Amazon. I bought this shirt to go with a black bow tie for pictures for my 3 year old son later this month. Packaged professionally, adorable little tie and cloth to go in the pocket (although I won't use either). We tried everything on the day it came in to make sure it fit and it fits just as expected, just a tad loose on his arms but he's a tiny guy. I will upload another picture once he gets his pictures done. I haven't washed it yet to see how the material holds up. (I couldn't decide whether to roll the sleeve up, or leave it down as you can see in the photo)

Great shirt for any "dress up" occasion

I bought the red shirt for my son's Chinese New Year program at preschool and it looked adorable on him. The red was a nice bright red, the tie was a cute matching pattern, the tie clip stayed on without irritating, the shirt is pretty true to size, and the quality is good. The pocket square is very short so it just sinks down into the pocket and becomes invisible. I used a safety pin to keep it in place, but I would not have been comfortable with my 3-year-old wearing a safety pin if it wasn't for the fact that he was only wearing it a short time and I was there with him the whole time. So the shirt would have gotten five stars if it hadn't been for the poor design of the pocket square.

A great shirt for my toddlers!

I had a hard time finding dress shirts for my little boys for my sisters wedding this past November. I looked at several department stores, and I felt like they had nothing that dressy for boys that were 1 and 2, and definitely nothing that would coordinate with the rest of the family. I had already travelled across several states for the wedding, and finally decided to look online. I found these shirts, and they worked great. My boys are on the small side of the growth chart, but we got a size 1 for the one year old and 2 for the 2 year old. They were slightly big, but like I said my boys are small. They were delivered quickly in time for the wedding that week, and I didn't feel like I was out a lot of money. I would definitely consider getting these shirts again for different events.

Great shirt

I was in a jam when my son needed a brown shirt for his winter concert (he was a reindeer). I ordered this on prime and it was perfect! He was the best-dressed reindeer in the concert! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the pocket square is too small for the pocket so you don't even see it. Other than that, I loved it.

Thin material but fit well and colors are nice

Shirt was true to size. Very thin material and two of the buttons were near to fallen off. Easy enough to sew back on though and for the price, I will still give 5 stars. The tie and pocket square that I received were different from what was pictured but I like what was sent better. Pic shows a polka dot gray and green tie and we received a striped blue and green tie which looked very nice with the shirt. I bought this for my nephew for Christmas and he loved it!

Bonita camisa pero mejorable

El color es bonito, como en la foto. La corbata también, mismo color. La calidad de la tela está aceptable pero me gustaría con más grosor ya que luce un poco de baja calidad.

Me llego un color diferente pero igual hermoso, mejor que el que pedi, la tela es buena pero no excelente, pero por el precio en comparación con una tienda regular, esta bien
